Hi ya'll! I test cosmetics, skincare products, and hair dyes, and give you an honest take on them. From the point of view of a dry and sensitive skin girl. Keeping it real and helping you look and feel like the best version of yourself. Don't try to change who you are! Be and look the best version you!
Right! Unfortunately I don’t know of any stylists who will work with henna or henna dyed hair and it’s usually because of the risks of reactions from the chemicals and metals that are sometimes in certain brands of henna. Sometimes they really are just not educated on henna at all. Once you use henna you’re really left to your own devices. I like that it’s safer than the chemicals that are used for other dyes but it is a pain to remove if you want to change the color. 😅
Thank you! The bleach did work the best out of all the methods and I eventually got my hair to a very light blonde with bleach baths. Hope that helps❤️
I’m honestly not sure. This whole process was an experiment on my part because hair stylists generally won’t work on hair that has henna. The thing that worked best for me was the bleach honestly. The other methods only made the color a little less vibrant. Hope that helps❤️
A tip if you don't know what you're doing definitely have help my first few times it was a little tough but you need mirrors all around that really really helps but it end up looking good you did a good job I appreciate the video
First problem. It's yellow. Yellow + Blue = GREEN. Toner! Toner! Toner! Get some Wella T18 Toner.. use that after bleach. Then the blue.. Also tip, do semi-perm colours on dry hair. For touch up's, add a tbsp or 2 of manic panic or any semi-perm colour to your conditioner, and use it in the shower as your regular conditioner. This will add blue to your hair so when you wash it'll never fade.
I know I'm a year late but I've found that hairspray or nail polish remover takes the hair dye stains off my skin ♡ sometimes my hands are stained after a shower(ty manic panic) and if I wash my hands with dandruff shampoo immediately it helps a lot.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️omfg you’ve just saved my hair so much! I’ve had henna stuck in my hair so bad and it’s so stubborn! I didn’t know what to do with it! Thank you!
Thanks for watching and commenting! The company makes the claim that it reduces sagging and promotes skin growth. However I’m not sure about the results for firming(it’s not one of my skin concerns yet). I use it for brightening and hydration. And it works well for that.
Hi thanks for the video! Anyone knows what would happen if i use box dye 6.1 blonde over my hair dyed with henna? I've used henna just about 2 months, but i wanted it darker so i mixed the natural henna with dark brown henna (and i think it has PPD) but the colour faded and now i have it just orange... so i wanted to dyed it a darker blonde 6.1 and i think its okay with my base colour... but is there any risks if i do it? :( like its my hair going to melt or something? (I read that somewhere..)
I don’t think it will help get the color you want. Henna is a direct dye so it lays on the top layer of your hair shaft. The box dye you’re talking about probably has peroxide in it. Which means it will lift the hair cuticle and deposit the dye into the hair hair shaft. So you’ll have the orange color on the surface of your hair covering the new color. Probably will look very muddy brown. Whether your hair will melt or not depends on the type of henna you used. Many brands have metals in the henna which when met with peroxide burns your hair off. To be safe I always do a test strand to see what will happen. I did that before bleaching my henna dyed hair too. Good luck 🙌
It depends on where you buy it. I got it from Palace Beauty in Koreatown Los Angeles. But I see you can get it on EBay directly from Korea for cheaper. I found it on EBay for $129
Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES ❗️ *What is the Gospel?* The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Romans 10:9 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. JESUS CHRIST can come anytime! Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS
I had indigo in my hair I used color opps twice and Argan color remover once, my hair is no longer black it’s a lighter brown now but I’m not going to attempt bleaching it on my own lol YOU’RE BRAVE!!!!! I have a hair appointment to do full highlights or whatever my hair girl suggests me to do to ride this brown and get some blonde highlights for summer!!! Indigo was messing with my health , I have an autoimmune disorder, indigo caused nothing but inflammation to my body, my joints are hurting and my husband got a rash on his neck from indigo he was using on his beard!! I just did a video on the things I did to go lighter, I’ll do another video after my hair girl works on my hair this Thursday 🫤 wish me luck 🙏🏼 here’s the link to my video as well HOW I REMOVED HENNA & INDIGO FROM MY HAIR & WHY | GOODBYE HENNA !!! @HennaSooq ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DHaZoDbZla4.html
Hi! Yes, I do prefer “the first Geniture” line. I felt like the products were more moisturizing and made my skin smooth and glowing. “Miracle Moisture “ was good too. I used it for years before I tried out “the first Geniture”. I would definitely recommend trying it! I always suggest trying out samples if you can find them first because O hui products contain fragrance.
Just found your channel and i must say, i was really surprised when i saw how many subscribers u have.U DEFINITELY deserve more, i really enjoyed your videos. Hope to see you in a better place in RU-vid. Keep up the good work i guess and keep being this lovely 😄💓
Hi, thanks for the comment! Yes I do prefer this one to “miracle moisture”. It is a very good moisturizer for me and I still use it. I do recommend you try to get a sample before purchasing it. It is expensive and if it doesn’t suit your skin then it will be a waste. It does have fragrance which doesn’t irritate my skin. But I know some people have a sensitivity to fragrances. Hope that helps
Thanks for the input! Yeah I definitely should have bleached a bit lighter but wanted to experiment haha 😆. I think you missed the part where I explained that I did end up putting on the undiluted dye because the one I mixed with conditioner looked so bad. I think my hair was just too yellow and the turquoise is a bit green/blue already so my hair just looked a lot more green than blue. Thanks for watching and commenting! 💕
