It varies in colour because your hair is also super yellow. Try toner to get rid of yellow first. So it's not green lol

Yes, I’m aware of that. But it’s not that simple. I chose a blue base direct deposit dye because of the orange. When trying to eliminate or tone down orange you need to use blue. My hair was mostly a level 9 (yellow). So because it is a direct deposit dye I was expecting it to tone out the orange and not mix with the yellow base color because there is no opening of the follicle. I think it could have worked if I had chosen the right dye. But this particular dye was a turquoise which has green undertones. If I had chosen a dark blue with violet undertones it would have not been green.

Thanks for the input! Yeah I definitely should have bleached a bit lighter but wanted to experiment haha 😆. I think you missed the part where I explained that I did end up putting on the undiluted dye because the one I mixed with conditioner looked so bad. I think my hair was just too yellow and the turquoise is a bit green/blue already so my hair just looked a lot more green than blue. Thanks for watching and commenting! 💕
