Hello Ladies, I have also been in a slump. I'm trying to finish this book called nightcrawling by Leila Mottley ( which is good) but some of the context is sad and depressing and hits a nerve because i grew up in a neighborhood like the one that is potrayed in the book. I just had to take a break but I am determined to finish it. (It's also a library book lol) Anyway I truly enjoy your book recs, hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend 😊

Im currently reading 3, The housemaid's secret by Freida McFadden-on chapter 4, the mail order bride that finds love at last by harmony something- 53%, and the island house by elana Johnson im about 40mins into Audiobook on RU-vid. Totally a mood reader.
Omg! New subscriber here❤I’m so glad I found your channel! I love seeing a mother and daughter sharing love for books like me and my mom. My mom was a big reader when I was growing up and I would sneak and read her books that I had no business reading lol. Honestly I still steal her books😂
I read just for the summer by abby Jimenez and didn't even know it was the 3rd book. Maybe if I read the other 2 books then I might notice but otherwise I didn't.

Like you, I had the latest one and when I found out it was part of a series I am forcing myself to read them in order. There is nothing better than finding books on your TBR in the thrift store. Hi ladies! I enjoy seeing your book hauls and how excited you are for your books. I am currently reading "Just For The Summer" by Abby. I read "Part Of Your World" also but I have not read "Yours Truly". I decided to just go for it. Like you, I guess I was having FOMO..ha. I'm at around ch 7 and don't feel like I have missed out by not reading in order...that could change later on in the book though. I plan on reading "The Paradise Problem" next. I just finished "Love and Other Words" by Christina Lauren (4 stars) Char, I have read "A good girl's guide to Murder" and loved it. I have the rest of the series to yet read though. I am not a prolific reader like all the booktubers. I can only read about 3 a month so it's hard to get in everything I want to read. I was wondering if you guys have a Goodreads acct and if so, what is the name on it? Happy reading!
Sounds like you’re reading a ton and you’ve chosen some great books. Thanks for sharing your experience. I own all of them now and so I’ll definitely be reading them in order but it’s nice to know that they could be read as stand alones.
GM ladies and happy belated b-day!! I just had a favor? Please be a little more careful when comparing/mentioning books that you aren’t actually talking about. More than once you’ve discussed a trope or plot point and randomly immediately cited another book and said “like in XYZ this happens too”. That can really ruin the experience if someone is reading or getting ready to read the unrelated book and there’s no way to unhear it or skip over as the comment is unexpected and cannot be avoided. Thanks.

Happy birthday!! 😀 I love the Part of Your World Series and I would highly recommend reading the series in order! Definitely more of an emotional impact that way and there are a lot of characters from the first two books that show up in Just For the Summer. And I love Brandon Sanderson! Haven’t found his books while thrifting either haha

Great summer TBR! I just finished reading Before I let go by Kennedy Ryan, first book from her I read and I fell in love with her writing! I immediately ordered Thus could be us and 3 other books by her to read. I really want to read a few of Abby Jimenez’s books this summer. Tia Williams’ books are also on my summer TBR 😊

I actually gave it another try and was glad I did because I fell in love with it. Had I properly DNF’d it, I wouldn’t have picked it up again. I ended up giving it a 4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🙈😃

Ugh I have the Breakup Vacation on my summer TBR but after what you said and going to Goodreads to read some of the reviews it might be going to a little free library. Especially after someone saying it has a lot of spice
Hello from New Mexico. I've read all three in the Housemaid series. They are quick reads, for sure. I love books with small chapters. I just finished The Seven Husband's of Evelyn Hugo and really liked it. Now to go pick up my next one.
