Mr Martin always seemed to really come alive when working in front of a live audience, and really seemed to feed off the audience energy. That he did all this without auto tune, retakes or even rehearsal is a remarkable statement on his talent and abilities.
Dean's voice is still rich and full here almost ten years after his show started. This was the last year for the variety show, but his singing remained first rate.
I loved Dean Martin, as a young girl and teenager back in the day. I thought he was the coolest and sexiest Italian man I ever layed eyes on. RIP sexy crooner. 💐

Poor Dean my Idol.. My Father was a very strong man, happy, sad but always vibrant. He went out the same way. ALS got him and it hurts me even now. Im 56 now. All our Idols go away. Look at Clint Eastwood now men. Soon he will pass. More sad indeed.
