I saw this in Oakland CA. I went for one reason: I wanted to be able to say I saw them, and time was running short. A ticket was $50, a lot of money then. Dean opened the show and was heckled for being inaudible. When he said, "I wanna go home," no truer words were ever spoken from a stage. He managed one more show and canceled.
I saw a different tape from one of these shows, and when he delivered that line the camera was a lot farther away and you could not see him smile said it, so it came across as kind of pitiful. Dean was pretty unhappy at this point and dropped out of the tour after just a few shows.
@@WilliamT1964 I probably seen that same tape as you. Felt real bad for Dean tho. He’s deserved to be treated far better than that, after all those long successful career years. Dean is quite a sensitive person, I hope what’s happened that day didn’t hurt him too much. Such a beautiful human. Good health guys🙂 Have a nice day.
