Here you will find pottery videos, dope pottery glaze reveals, drawing challenges, watercolor painting, and so much more! My name is Adar and I’ve always liked doing art stuff as a hobby, but now I finally want to start taking it seriously. Currently, I specialize in portrait painting, but as you know, art is always growing and evolving, and I'm looking forward to documenting this journey and seeing how far it'll take us :).
So if this kind of stuff sounds good to you, grab some pencils, paper, or any art supplies you’ve got and let’s grow together 😉
While replicating other people's style isn't copying, it always keeps you focused on others instead of self, developing a mush of techniques that are not yours, making it even more confusing for any sense of identity as You. Bringing forth your own one-of-a-kind style is not happening while you look at how others create, but rather when you let yourself Express in the completely uncharted Freedom of no reference to validate your creative choices. You gotta learn to do that for yourself. THEN you are The Artist.
Well said! I agree with you, sometimes when you are constantly looking at what others are doing you become stuffed with all the noise and end up blocking your own voice. However, at the same time, looking at others’ work can give you a stroke of inspiration that is completely unrelated but was triggered by what you saw. Everything needs balance of course :)
I nearly scrolled past this video but that title really struck me after a few seconds. I really needed this video as I've been finally making the comic for a story I've had swimming around in my head. The fear of not being good has definitely held me back but I love the idea of letting myself be curious and find the skills as I go.
I’m so happy this video resonates with you and you found it when you needed it most. Best of luck on your comic! I’m sure it’ll turn out better than you expected
I like the way the video was edit! And yes you’re right we can never copy some else’s art .. each art is like finger print their all unique even if it seems similar 😊
I love the cool effect this paper gave your painting😍 and the portrait looks amazing; well done! The people we surround ourselves with is so important. And breaks are imperative! Burnout sucks, so take plenty of breaks to let your mind rest and refresh. Congrats on hitting the 1k🎉🎉🎉 Wooohooooo🙌 (I finally hit it last week after 3 very long years😂)
I tried using the Loomis method and the enveloping method, but this one worked best for me: m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EA2qP94zkqg.html&pp=ygUbcGxhbmVzIG9mIHRoZSBmYWNlIHR1dG9yaWFs
Thanks! I feel you, but as you get better, it’s always good to keep at least a couple “bad” art pieces to look back on and be proud of how far you’ve come :)
