Amery Junction was the name of my 1st Layout I built , which was in 2015 . This then lead to me starting a RU-vid channel in 2017 and gave its Name . Now I have 11 layouts in total , from Static home layouts to exhibition layouts. On this channel you will see various forms of video , layout updates, Drone footage, railway today episodes, exhibitions and lots more model railways ! My layouts are various eras and scales, with something to suit everyone. I’ve been on TV , on the Great Model Railway Challenge, also a few of my layouts have been featured in Railway Modeller Magazine. My channel is sponsored by GLR Bespoke Services, so do check them out. I hope you like what you see and please do subscribe and share the channel !
With the Irish government’s proposed improvements to the railways, I’d love to see them opening up the Kingscourt to Navan freight line as a dual purpose heritage line for special trains down to Dublin Connolly - and I’d love to see them reopening the Mullingar to Athlone line to passenger services and/or heritage traffic
this is awesome, I have just got back into a model trains after being away from the hobby for 25 years, I am looking to make my 1st small shunting yard layout due to space, before I crack on with a slightly larger TT/120 oval in the summer, but I wanted to make a shunting yard for my 00 to mess about in, I am looking to do a south east london vibe style look being as Im from Catford, Lewisham... the nearest shunting yard for real is Hitter Green and its not the style I wanna do, I like the Phil Mitchell Eastenders railway arches look, with the trains above... this has giving me food for though... beautiful lay out, nice one, just subbed and with check out more of your videos!
I spent a lot of my childhood over here with my dad Terry Barnard. I remember driving the 1st train sitting on his lap. It was painted in red oxide I’m sure of it.

Excellent video capturing the feel of the event. I think I saw more from watching the video than I remember seeing on the day. Especially the detail of the close up shots. Very well filmed. Thanks for sharing. Roy.
Ah Folkestone Harbour my neck of the woods . So many different possibilities WW1 & 2 troop departures and Arrivals , Orient Express with Class 73s pulling Pullman coaches down to the harbour , Magic . Looking forward to the build . Cheers Kev
Out of interest, the Jackdaw Inn model is based on a real pub near Folkestone. It featured in the 1969 film The Battle of Britain with Christopher Plummer and Susannah York. Cracking modelling!
Thankyou yes it’s getting a big revamp the area itself at the moment , which is nice to see and they are bringing the railway character all back. Hopefully my layout will represent it just as good
