35s fit on the new Rams with the stock ride height..as long as you don't go with a crazy negative offset. You'll be fine. Of course a leveling kit or a 3.5 in lift just add to the look..looks good man
So Walmart sells the venom power wheels. What if you buy the tire through walmart and have them put em on? They have a 90 day return policy on them too.
@@jacobmcmahon1915 I mean maybe could have done that. I just ended up buying nitto trail grapplers. Got 60k out of them when I got rid of the truck and they still had life left. Probably the tire I’ll forever run on lifted trucks now.
@FullDrawOutdoors yeah that's completely fair. Without your video I also would have just done the order online. The reason why I'm thinking so hard about these tires is because I'm doing a special build for someone and they want to see if can do 12.50 tires on a stock suspension. Venom Power is the only company that makes specifically 31x12.50xR20. After loads of research I know they'll fit. Honestly the truck looks sweet on 12.5 wides on stock suspension so I hope it works out. I have 33's lying around that I tried and it just won't happen without large modification. Thanks for the video, I hope it saves a lot of people a headache and hopefully Venom Power has improved their product over the last 2 years.
Hi guys, I drive the 1500 (2023) in Germany and I just did a trip to Italy 6 hour drive and around 400 miles. I drove 90-100 mph in Germany and 80-90 in Austria and Italy. All together I had 18 Mpg as well. This equals 13,3 Liters what we use in Europe.
Got the same truck ..going through trying to pic out rims and tires, got cooper's on my 2011 sport ram. Looking at them ..great truck..getting it a 3 or 4 in.lift too.
@@FullDrawOutdoors Thanks for the quick response. I have 18inch wheels with a 0 offset and a 3.5 inch ReadyLift I’m really hoping the 35x12.50 don’t rub on my upper control arms. My appointment is in 1 week 🙏
Damn that sucks man! I guess i got lucky i bought some venom 33s from Walmart for 800$ for all 4 mine are great. Now im scared to get another set when i need to replace these i was happy to find i good priced and solid tire but from what ive seen they are hit and miss but mostly good reviews just sucks that they are putting out bad ones.
thats why you on here, you wanted someone to care, we dont, youre a loser lmao. sitting on youtube commenting on peoples videos. go do something loser hahahah broke bum@@ragdolltrucking
@@ragdolltrucking not really the more comments I get from you helps the video, jokes kinda on you 🤷🏻♂️ the truck is over all slow, still faster then a 500hp duramax I raced, but slower then my 650 rwhp cummins. So yeah not fast by any means.
it was balanced at two different places, and if there weren't so many people commenting on here withe same issue i could see discount being the problem. but its the tires 100%
ive also had my dad order tires and took them to discount and installed and even paid for a warranty from discount with zero issue even though I got them for cost at my dads shop.
Im stuck between 33s and 35s as i have the 3.21 as well. After having the truck with 35s would you do it again or would you rather have the 33s? I will be installing same lift
funny you ask this, as I now have a 2023 with the 6ft bed, I have the lift sitting in the garage as I type this. Even spent more to avoid the billet piece in the strut and just bough straight strut replacements. I am on the fence on 33s and 35s mainly because of towing. When im not towing the trucks fine. got like 18mpg once it settled in and had break in miles. I know the video I did before said 20 which it was getting, but everyday driving knocked it down to 18. When I towed it would get 10-11mpg. I almost wish I could see someones towing mpg with 33s to make the choice, If its not much difference Id go 35s again. But if I was not towing anything 35s all day.
yeah but mine are like maybe 1" max sticking out. thats not that much, to suck it in more would look silly. Everyone does at least as much as I did.@@pjfan173
@@FullDrawOutdoors This whole conversation started with me responding to you saying your tires rub. I just let you know that my setup doesn’t. I hope you’re enjoying your truck.
Ya had bad issues with My Nittos too. dumpded them and got BFG ko2. went 4 years and 90k miles on them.. But now they are 105.00 more than last time i bought them..
I have the same exact issues with shaking on my tundra. It shakes like a moutherf....er. I can't get a warranty replacement. Discount tires balanced and rotated them six times. The weight was off by ten to 12 ounces each. I feel so ripped off.
So basically 😂😂😂😂 was sitting at the tire shop to have these installed and saw this…. I ran through the shop screaming stop! stop! stop! !!!!! As the guy was putting my truck on the hoist and I tore out of there so fast they never got to hear what happened 😂
Nitto ridge grapplers are my go too now, I have 60220 miles on the truck and just traded it in for a 2023, the tires still had east 15000 left in them. I’ve also talked to 3 people with those venom tires, two of them said no problems, the third said they vibrate like crazy. So sounds like you can get lucky. Hit the sub button and follow along with the new build. Already got the kit ordered!
I’ve got 3 trucks I use them for work everyday and during the off season these trucks head up North for a month long moose and elk hunt, I put 60 to 70 kms per truck each year and always try and have them replaced around this time of year. They were a good deal and now I know why. Trust me I hate dealing with tire warranty issues
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. It's too bad people have to go through shit like you did. Instead of the company fixing the problem to make a better tire they are still selling junk because to this day they are still receiving bad reviews for the same issues. I too was thinking about these Venom tires but after reading so many of the same problems (from other owners) that you had, I went with BFGoodRich ALL-Terrain T/A KO2. I may have paid $560 more for the set than the Venoms. But worth it for a piece of mind and hassle-free experience.
