Got the same truck ..going through trying to pic out rims and tires, got cooper's on my 2011 sport ram. Looking at them ..great truck..getting it a 3 or 4 in.lift too.
Great video. Looking at this exact setup, just a different brand of rim, same -19 offset. Did you need a spacer at all to clear the knuckle or did the wheels fit on with the minor trimming you mentioned?
I want to use the original rims that came with my 2022 , but with 34’s do you think they will rub on the ball joint. And why didn’t you use the original rims? I wish I could buy them from you. Mine are Chrome but luv the original you had.
I was wondering what ply your tires are? I wore down some Nitto Terra Grappler on my F150 & swopped to the BF Goodrich A/T at I think a 6 ply or something. I know it was a big difference in the ride itself.
I wanna say these are 8 or 10 ply having big issues getting them balances correctly. Currently at discount tire getting road force balanced and if they don’t balance Mr wheel and deal were I got them from will be warranting them out.
I have a 2020 Rebel and am installing the 3.5" Readylift with with 295/70r18 Toyo Open AT3. Im going to keep my stock Rebel wheels because I really like them... and cost, may change later. Just curious, this is my first lift, did the 3.5" give it a very noticable lift? Had a buddy put a 3.5 and 33s on his Chevy and was not really noticable, kinda notice the tire change more. Your truck looks GREAT! Hope mine turns out as nice. Thanks for any info.
So the honest truth is it’s a 50/50 look. An what I mean by that is, sometimes I look at it and go “man it don’t seem that big”. Other times I see it and I’m like damn!!! She looks big. Idk how to describe it other then that. One minute it will catch your eye as a nice lifted truck. Other times it seems stock. But my two previous vehicles were a full 5in BDS long arm kit on a 96 ram which is a straight axle truck. Then a 5in short arm rough country lift in my 03 cummins on 37s. So those trucks being straight axle and full on suspension lifts obviously look so much better, and it’s more noticeable. So that might be why I feel like it doesn’t seem lifted to me sometimes. Only thing I’ll say on the ready lift is I’ll eventually switch to a Fox strut with the built in lift, instead of preloading the strut and added that billet lift block. If you’ve owned IFS trucks you’ll probably notice the ride quality lowered a bit when doing this. To me it was still night and day better over a cummins straight axle lol. Hope this helps and good luck with your build man! Merry Christmas!
@@FullDrawOutdoors Yes, it does help. This is my first Ram and my first lift, so I was curious about the completed look. Always had Fords but switched over two years ago and love my Ram. Well it's gotta look even a little better because the new Rams seem to sit pretty low. I thought your truck looked great and if mine comes out looking like yours Ill be very happy. Thanks for all of the info and quick response. Hope you have a Merry Christmas too. Thanks again.
There is a total of 5.5 inches added over all between tires and lift. Don’t know how tall that actually made the truck. But you can now put a tape up to it and add 5.5inches to yours and get a rough estimate.
I probably won’t do a video on it, but that angle didn’t change that much, it’s way within spec and the couple times I turned in my 4x4 there wasn’t any vibration. I won’t heavily off-road in this truck though.
Very nice trick how much you think -19 sticking out about 1 inch? What about the ride big change from factory tires? I had a Arturo xt they were hibrid very durable but rough ride. Thanks men keep that truck beautiful
yeah its close to about an inch. Some ride quality was lost. I think if you went with a fox strut instead of putting a billet block in, it would be a much nicer ride. Also if someone came out with a nice one piece spring instead of the black in the rear as well, this kit would dominate simply because you dont have to cut anything like a true suspension lift.
I installed it myself, and my family runs a auto shop so when I needed the springs removed from the coil I just took it in and they did it for me at no charge.
I have a 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn Crew Cab 4x4 similar to your truck. I have a 3.5” ReadyLift waiting to be installed. I also just ordered some 35” Kenda Klever tires and the Fuel Rebels in 20x10 with -18 offset. I know the camera angles when filming can be deceiving, but is the stance as aggressive as it appears? I also do not have the fender flares and I’m concerned it’s going to look a bit off with only a 3.5” lift. Appreciate the help!
My opinion is it looks just right even though its only 3.5 inches of lift. See to me the stance doesn't look that good in the video and when in person the truck looks much meaner looking. The tires stick out about a inch maybe Inch and a half. For me I was trying to get a less aggressive stance so I wasn't throwing stones. So I might buy the factory flares and have them painted to match as well. I Just installed the Rebel hood and got it on the truck today. So I'll be doing another video in the days to come. I've already gotten multiple comments on how good the truck looks, I'm very confident that you'll like the set up!
@@FullDrawOutdoors appreciate the reply and that was exactly what I was hoping you would say. I’ve seen some pictures where the -18/-19 looks great on the 3.5 lift without the flares and then others that just seem a bit out of proportion. I think yours looks sweet at certain angles and then it’s hard to tell at other angles just based on how close up your walk around is. What made me ask is your comment about it sticking out a bit more than you liked. Appreciate it again, and beautiful trucks! Can’t wait to get my setup installed and looking right!
Im stuck between 33s and 35s as i have the 3.21 as well. After having the truck with 35s would you do it again or would you rather have the 33s? I will be installing same lift
funny you ask this, as I now have a 2023 with the 6ft bed, I have the lift sitting in the garage as I type this. Even spent more to avoid the billet piece in the strut and just bough straight strut replacements. I am on the fence on 33s and 35s mainly because of towing. When im not towing the trucks fine. got like 18mpg once it settled in and had break in miles. I know the video I did before said 20 which it was getting, but everyday driving knocked it down to 18. When I towed it would get 10-11mpg. I almost wish I could see someones towing mpg with 33s to make the choice, If its not much difference Id go 35s again. But if I was not towing anything 35s all day.
wheels and tires were 2700$ lift was 900, installed my self...priceless lol Stay away from these tires though. straight trash, bought brand new nitto ridge grapplers. video to come on why
Hard for me to give a honest review. I’ve driven nothing but straight axle trucks on 35s and 37. So to me it rides like a dream. Doesn’t seem to ride any worse then when it was stock though.
So if you asked me this earlier I would of said it’s awesome for a lifted truck. An it still kinda is. I came from driving a 96 lifted ram and my 03 cummins. Both solid axle. So it’s light years better. But I was given a ram rental while they fixed my computer, I put a 100 miles on it, and well you can defiantly tell my truck is stiffer. An you feel bumps more. But over all it’s still great for being a lifted truck. I’m going to look into getting a bigger strut so I don’t have to compress that spring, just add the top plate and I think that will make it ride closer to that stock feeling. But that’s down the road!
@@FullDrawOutdoors that's my biggest worry... i have an 09 and I'm just not sure if i want to 'preload' my springs. the ride quality is important to me but the price is desirable
@@toddmarekjr2662 ya you’re going to feel it. They make struts that are two inches taller, so it eliminates the need to compress the spring. Does it ride better? Idk but I’m looking into a Fox strut that’s 2inches taller for the future!
Yeah, I just talked to a guy I seen that bought a set and wanted to see if they have corrected they’re QC. Guys words were they shake like crazy, they were cheap man. I said yeah I’m asking because I bought them too and got ride of them. I’m at about 50k with my nitto trial grapplers and there in excellent condition. Get a easy 20k more out of them. Expensive but in the end it was the best choice!
@@FullDrawOutdoors Thanks for the quick response. I have 18inch wheels with a 0 offset and a 3.5 inch ReadyLift I’m really hoping the 35x12.50 don’t rub on my upper control arms. My appointment is in 1 week 🙏
@@RickySlatton no, these Hemi motors make a lot of torque so this thing still picks up and moves very well, gas milage has remained in the mid 17.5 for me, but I’m no speed demon. As far as towing I do believe a 3.55 gear or the 3.92 gear that these trucks came with back in the day would do much better towing. I know a stock 2019 ram with a hemi and 3.22 got 12.5-13mpg towing. Putting 35s on my truck I was getting 8-10 towing the same trailer and SxS so it ranked the gas when towing . My trailer is only 14’ dual axle utility.
@@FullDrawOutdoors You Can still get these trucks with 3.92 gears... They are a lot quicker and pull much harder off the line! Nice Truck, I'm going with the same thing but 6.5' box, same lift and 35s.
@@coreykonkin5917 yeah looking back wish in would of said yeah I wanted that, but I passed. These 3.22 aren’t that bad though, on 35s on the freeway I got 20mpg so I’m happy
yeah but mine are like maybe 1" max sticking out. thats not that much, to suck it in more would look silly. Everyone does at least as much as I did.@@pjfan173
@@FullDrawOutdoors This whole conversation started with me responding to you saying your tires rub. I just let you know that my setup doesn’t. I hope you’re enjoying your truck.
