Thanks for video. I did everything, put all together but ended up with two lever doing nothing and one lever moving all three axes and swithing on some buttons at the same time. Any ideas?
Thanks, it’s working great ! (Except for some easy fix issues). I gave up on this little project 2 years ago because of the jumpy controls (wrong spot for the cables) but now it’s fixed ^^
Yes I would assume so. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.. but you’d have to use the analog side.. the uno has a digital output side and an analog.. since these are analog potentiometers you’d have to use the analog side.. you’d also have to program the uno and add the “game pad” code so the computer sees it as a second controller .. LASTLY though.. I don’t think it will help the issue.. because since you are still using analog with the adurino the pot sensors are still not gonna be accurate and thus still have dead zones.. the board he used CONVERTS it from analog to digital.. which allows the pot sensors to be much more accurate and dynamic If you look around and buy this board direct from China.. you can pay as low as $30. That’s what I paid for mine but it took a good 2 weeks to come in. Def worth it tho as it’s basically the same price as an uno
You also could replace the pot sensors with digital pot sensors.. and THEN use an adrino.. if you did this then you’d fix the issue after programming the adrino as I mentioned above… BUT by the time your done buying the pot sensors and the uno and doing all the work of coding it.. I just can’t see it being worth it. This board he used doesn’t require any programming.. just plug (solder) and play.
Great video! You are one of about three people I have seen on video, driving a vintage car, who know how to downshift properly (by double-clutching)! Well done!
Buen día, Me gustaría saber cuales son los primeros pasos para saber si el motor Perkins está suelto y que debo hacer antes de arrancarlo? El motor en cuestión ha estado inactivo durante 30 años. Soy de Portugal
It looks like black diesel now to me. Now what? Filter the black with some other agent to take it white? Why not get a new job and pay your fair share of the tax. You drive on the roads don't you? You enjoy the comforts of a interstate bathroom when a rest is needed. You like road signs and snowplows in the winter time right? You want a cop to show up when you crash right? You are like the defend the police people who call the cops when they need them. What a joke
Did it make a nice differance when you shot it. I own a HW97KT also its brand new, do you think i should put one in mine and i hope i can do it, you made it look easy.
I had my boat in storage for 5 years (4018 marine version), put a battery in it pushed the fuel filter primer a few times until it felt heavy (marine version not sure your version has it) and it started up like it ran 5 minutes ago, it also cranks slower than yours, think you might have compression problems. *edit* I never use the pre heater thing as it's not needed at all unless it's way below freezing.
Thanks for this. I did it a little differently. My roll controls are good enough but my elevator controls were terrible. I didn’t use the rubber bands. I just took the first of the two elevator springs off and just doing that gave it a pretty nice response. I would suggest people start with that and then proceed with your method as needed. Obviously there is going to be some manufacturing variances and it will have to be tweaked differently for each person.
