Q: Have you deleted one of my comments about countries giving preference to spending money on the wrong things?.... just for the sake of knowing "who" is reading "with us"....
Hello from Lillehammer, Norway! I'm glad you finally got some nice, warm weather when you came to Norway. I discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago, and I have seen all the episodes of your trip. I must say: You took a chance, going so far north so early. Normally, it wouldn't have been a problem. But you never know what the weather and the road conditions are going to be like, so far north, in early may. I think you were very unlucky. But it could also have been even worse. I look forward to follow you on your next trips!
Hello! Thanks for watching the series. I did want a challenge but yeah, was really bad weather. I was told 2023/4 was a really bad winter. Eye opening to see how folks live with such extreme weather and just get on with daily life. In Ireland, 1" of snow and out little country closes down lolz!!!
The battery on my 2021 Pan Am let me down last year Sept when I was touring in Ireland.Given that the 2024 model comes with a larger battery is telling you everything you need to know.
Sorry to hear that, if you ever get stuck in Ireland again please reach out. The MY24 have a lot more than a larger battery........ Stay tuned cause I have a larger issue brewing with the bike 🙂
@@theladwiththebeard I have had all sorts of stuff going wrong with it too. But as an early adopter I was expecting it. Anyway I love touring on it and have been to (based in London) Ireland (2x), France, Germany, Sardinia, Italy and Denmark (and all the countries in between) - covering 15k miles so far. My dealership here (Warrs) have been fantastic in sorting everything out for me.
Thank you for reading out my Daughters name Ebony. We lost her in Feb to a brain tumor and you popped up on dad's with angels. I was following your journey and you have done so well raising money for charity. I hope to one day represent my daughters memory and raise money for the charities that helped our daughter. Well done sir.
@@arranbutters6558 thanks for allowing me carry Ebony’s memory with me on the adventure. It was my honour to do so. I’m no longer a member of DWA, it’s not the same since I joined and when Paul ran it. So if you wish you can post the video in the group. Wish you all the best on your fundraiser and reach out if you need any help with it 😬
Enjoyed this Johnny. Great video. Hoping to make some memories on my Pan America soon. New engine should be nearly delivered. Fingers crossed anyway. 3 months without a bike has been awful. Looking forward to the next video

@@theladwiththebeard I believe you are being talked about the guy in the chat well he just found negativity in what you are doing possibly does not understand the scope of your project. The Families of the names on your flag I know will be forever grateful you brought them to the whole world to hear.
This episode touched me in so many ways. Well done for embarking on such a journey. I am heading to Cape North from Ireland very soon with my motorcycle and I'll spare a thought for what you did! Respect!

Johnny. That was an amazing moment, reading those names. Epic journey, I hope in some small way it helps to heal your heart. I love the solitude of remote locations on bike. What a feeling it must have been to accomplish such a journey. Inspiring Johnny. Well done.
