The batteries in these suck. Same happened to me at 1,200 miles. Sat overnight, started fine, went a 1/4 mile to get gas, turned it off, and it did what yours did. Let it sit far a couple of minutes and it started. Barely. Hasn't done it since. If you voltage reads below 11.9 or so, it won't start like it should.
That’s the odd thing. I use it nearly every day since getting it and very rarely had it in the trickle charge cause it’s used so much and got to over 10000km before any issues. It’s got work down and new battery installed. It’s ready to collect. Will update its progress in a new video. Stay tuned 😂
@theladwiththebeard I always keep mine on a tender when it's at home. This happened on a trip. Stayed at a hotel overnight and the next morning is when it happened. It seemed to have used all of it juice starting it in the morning and I didn't ride it far enough to recharge. Still shouldn't happen. The rest of the trip I had no problems. In fact, that is the only problem I've had with it so far. Thinking of upgrading to a battery with more cold cranking amps. This battery issue seems to be a common complaint with the factory battery. I hope your new battery gets it sorted out for you.
@@bobcob3362 Cheers bud, there was a few other things done while it was in along with a new battery, just waiting to collect the bike and find out what else was done. I'll stick up a new video detailing it. Hopefully thats the end of it. As I said, 10k KM with zero issues really! Hose pipe was also fixed under the service bulletin.
How crazy is that! You was about the to do the 10k review and it goes pear shaped and not starting. How ironic can it get hahaha sorry had to chuckle! its funny but not funny. I feel your pain. I suppose half a loaf is better then none haha maybe skip the 10k review and do one at 11k If they figure out the cause of the problem and you get it back fully fixed and running as it should be. Fingers crossed.
