Honestly, though, it's stupid that the hero just lets Minos deliver a long monologue and commit suicide when he has Dazzle, Force Bolt, and Fetch spells available.
There were a few things I found disappointing with about QfG5 and how it fit (or didn't) with the previous games of the series. But the music was not one of them.
It was 23 years ago, and I still listen to Chance Thomas sing this song... I'm glad I was able to save the full version of this song... it actually starts with the chords the Dryads sing every time you dropped the Hippocrene water on their roots. I remember as a kid how magical this part of the game was for me. It still is
Note: Elsa Von Spielberg joins you for this fight and functions in one of two ways. If you play as a Warrior or Paladin, you fight the Hydra while she burns the severed stumps of the heads with a torch. If you play as a Thief or Mage, she fights the beast while you burn the stumps with your torch or Fireball spell, respectively.
I have never played this game, but the soundtrack is astonishing! I absolutely love this masterpiece that gives you the atmosphere of mystery, elegance and royal conspiracies against the ruler of the land! ❤❤❤
May I... Uh. Would it be okay for me to...? Can I just? Listen, I just need a place to stay. Can I muck the stables tor a roof over my head? Pretty please?
I played this game back in 1998 as a demo. The melody got stuck inside my head for decades. I could not remember the game title. And after so many years I decided to do some research. And I found all the popular games of 1998. I watched like a hundred walkthroughs. And suddenly I heard it. Feels like complete now. 🥹 Thank you for this upload ❤️
Man I had the same experience with another game named "Silver" released in 1999. When I finaly found it, it was like a fever dream coming to reality haha And by the way same as you when I first played QfGV it was on the demo, Island Castle with the boss am I right? :D I would play that demo over and over..
damn this track was my favourite, got chills when it played, just played QFG5 finally like half a year ago (I had hard time getting into it with the dated 3d look before), was a great game. And I loved the fanservice with romance stuff haha.
I, who played the demo of this game in 1998, come back years later, from time to time, only to listen to this piece of art again. ...Well, this, and the #1 rock ballad on Need For Speed: Porsche Unleased on PS1 (exclusive song to that console).
I just got back from the Oregon coast on a sunny 62-degree day in January. This tune fit the mood perfectly. Felt just like a balmy winter day in Silmaria!
That’s actually what brought me here! I was beginning to think I was the only one. I would load up private servers and wander around his maps alone just for the trippy experience.
This track is a combination of the by-day and by-night tunes heard when walking through Silmaria; but they have their own, extended versions I've been unable to find.
Granted, it's been about 15-20 years but if memory serves, 0:00-0:56 = facing the first head. 0:57-1:20 = facing the second head. 1:21 to 1:45 = the final head.
The prince of shapeir. Hero of Tarna and Mordavia. My introduction to the series but a gripping one to say the least. Will forever love Erasmus, Rakeesh and the rest
