If there's one thing I've learned about being an adult, it is this: there's always another project. Over the years, I've tackled a ton of projects and built some cool stuff, and now I'd like to help people who have similar problems.
My channel primarily covers woodworking and home improvement projects (anything from carpentry, plumbing, electrical, remodeling, to renovating). I'll throw in other miscellaneous projects as they come up, so don't be surprised to see videos on photography, home brewing, blacksmithing, and travel. I have a wide range of interests and love showing others what I've done.
If you're interested in learning how to build, fix, update, or otherwise positively change things, you've come to the right place.

It’s actually impressive how all the notches just fit. If I were to do it, especially on the second layer of crossmembers, I would have not been able to notch them on the ground and just lay them on so confidently. Great video.
@@GlennFrazeeYT I have completed my task! I will find a way to put up pictures! You need to see what you helped me do! I have electricity to my electric fence and will be have to have light in my coop as well!
If I dug a hole and filled it with stones on bottom then cement 3meter hole. Would that work for the 4 standing support beams Or would putting the post in the ground 2meter then filling with cement be better ?
I have the same/similar saw and it's on a steel box, unlike wood like yours. I dont really want to cut into it, sort of sentimental to me, but you gave me some great ideas!
YOU'RE A BEAST, GREAT CARPENTRY SKILLS, I'M BUILDING MY PERGOLA BUT IT'S A PLUG AND PLAY TYPE, NO FANCY WOOD WORK. AMAZON SELLS BRACKETS FOR IT, I MADE IT A HABIT TO SIT IN MY BACKYARD PATIO EVERYDAY FOR ATLEAST AN HOUR. GLAD YOU DO IT TOO
The key never came off the shaft when I removed the old impeller. Seems stuck pretty good and given amount of rust on the shaft not surprised. Would you just leave it and put the other one on or get the key off first? I’m afraid to get it off I may do some damage to it or the shaft.
Thanks. I did lightly slide it over it and seemed to fit. It is the Wen impeller not the Rikon and no one has said to replace it only to not lose it. I will add some lithium grease and roll with it. Thanks for the reply
How did this work for you? DId it keep the grass out of the beds? I already have a paver edge and got some steel edging I am going to pound in along the edge of the pavers, pretty much all the way into the yard. Only purpose is to reduce/block/stop the grass from growing in between the pavers and into the bedding. I got 3"
Well done! Good method . . . I am a perfectionist and when we bought our house the two mirrors over the sinks in the double vanity were not level with each other. One was about 8 milimetres higher than the other and it made me crazy. It was the first thin I fixed. Now, much like Amish's comment, my OCD is such that I've now three times, put in a hanger for a powder room mirror, didn't like the placement, three times mudded, sanded, painted the holes, and am now hanging the mirror a fourth time. If something is worth doing, it is worth doing right, otherwise it will drive me nuts for ever.
wanted to put up a twin wall polycarb roof over the hot tub portion of my deck. Three 4x12 10 mm panels would cost me $315. The killer was the shipping costs at $685. Why would anyone buy a product where the shipping charges are more than double the cost of the product being purchased?
I had a certified plumber change the laundry faucet and replace the metal water pipes with some type of plastic tubing that had a joint that look like it was held together by clamps I'm in a worse position now because if that breaks water is going to squirt everywhere previously the faucet was simply leaking
Impeller with backward blades like the Harbor Freight provide high pressure low volume, desirable for a dust collection setup. You might see if the motor is reversible by rewiring or flipping the stator. Clockwise rotation on the new impeller should give better results. if you suck up any scrap of steel (nails, screws, washers, bolts) - into that metal Thien baffle, as it spins at 4000 ft/min, it will spark against not only the metal piping, but on those screw heads inside that barrel and with all that dust tinder collected - you're asking for an explosive and rapid-burn fire that will burn down your shop in an eyeblink. I'd take those screws out immediately.
