Right before the Pandemic started, I made a couple gnocchi/pasta rolling paddles out of some nice black walnut ( • How To Make a Gnocchi ... ). Shortly thereafter, I got started in the process of making a bigger batch of them out of a butternut log I'd held on to for about 10 years. After getting most of the way done with them, I set them aside and didn't touch them again for about 2.5 years until now.
In this video, I go through the process of making a batch of 17 gnocchi/pasta rolling paddles starting from a rough log. The process I used is a bit different than in the previous video, but overall the concept is the same.
