There is nothing there. It's just a lump of plastic, to look like a bulb. This is the back of the light. My thumb is by the dent that pretends to be a bulb. The Brake/Tail is in the outer light units photos.app.goo.gl/doGGRTXLfBfMc8PE9
Mother of god. My father just bought these for my car and as grateful as I am he knows how much I hate unnecessary shite. I’ll be doing this as soon as I get some. Thank you very much 😊 To update. I tried it but it doesn’t seem to remove the ispeed logo😢
Shocking that you need to remove the entire tailgate door card just to change a bulb. Those push studs easily break and are never quite as secure when you reinstall them. Interestingly, the owners manual shows removable access covers, but these have obviously been omitted as a cost saving.
No it would damage the plastic. It also seems like the Ispeed logo in now etched into the deflectors. Ive been trying to get them off with this product and no luck at all. Some fading, but thats after quite a lot of time.
It seems to be a common problem in those gearboxes after several years. This retainer has to withstand rotational and horizontal movements. Fortunately, the replacement is cheap and quite common.
@stuarttempleton6009 you might not be aware, but the middle wheel steers at 50% of the front wheel. It's on a right hand lock. Doing that doesn't bugger up Stolly wheels
@@markellis7819 I know about the steering as I was an instructor for 4years on the stalwart and that kind of driving is abuse yes it's fun but you must respect the steering 😉
Well, if you look - the full video is a Royal Artillery video, but this clipped version is Stolly porn. So why do you think the film is "cut todesth" ?
@davidravenscroft9235 How on earth did you come up with false information like that utter nonsense ? They were withdrawn from 91, and sold off in 93. Certainly didn't spend more time broken down
I drove them for 9 years while serving in the RCT. Complete and utter crap. Bedford TM replaced them in our regiment, a far more reliable machine. BAOR was full of crap and old equipment.
Broke down so much because they were over engineered and completely worn out. Stood for years in all weathers too due to restrictions on use. Your can only polish a terd so many times. The Bedford TM replaced them in our Regt and proved a far superior vehicle.
Ours is 7 and is already heart coughing it seems more frequent within the last 6 months. How much longer did yours live once at this point? We have him on vetmedin.
His heart strings were ripped apart by the Lepto 4 vaccine. Vets denied that it was the vaccine, and he had the second injection 4 weeks later. 5 days after that he was dead, drowning in his own fluids
That depends on how far your daily commute is every day, or how often and how far you drive it. If you're just doing 10 minutes to school and back twice a day then it won't charge the battery, and over time it will never hold the full charge. . Don't be fooled by other brands of batteries. Is the Halfords battery the same physical size as the Genuine Ford/Varta battery? A lot of sellers offer batteries for cars, especially diesels, that are actually physically smaller - so they don't hold the continued grunt power. . Having 12 volts in a battery doesn't mean it's got enough amperage to start the car. .
@@markellis7819 well it fills the area the battery is in, and I travel 15 miles and back to work. It starts every time so I assume it’s good enough for the car.
@@shanepatrick641 Sorry, I misunderstood. If it's still starting the car then are you saying that you're getting a fault code come up? The code I had come up was resolved by changing the battery
5:44 I must inform the oil does NOT flow out. It starts dripping with thick drops, but surprisingly, looses very little oil. You can even go without using an oil pan underneath.
Yeeeeees! At last I made it! Thank you so much for the video! That little screw was a pain! I had to cut a third of the head off to be able to use a wrench.
My dog has an allergy to Lepto, so she gets the shot without Lepto. My dogs only get the rabies vaccine now. My vet says that at a certain age, they don't need all those other vaccines.
My 10 year old cavalier is going through this right now. I am just devastated. He’s currently on vetmedin, cardalis and upward (diuretic) the vets wanted to put him to sleep last Saturday but I refused as he was very much himself, but his breathing has slightly declined today. I know what happens if I contact the vet :( but I’ve got to do the best by him. Thank you so much for the video.
If you want to do the best, then let him go. I made the mistake of letting Alfie have Zoetis' Lepto 4 vaccine, and it damaged his heart strings. He'd had a 3/5 murmur when he had the vaccine, which means he shouldn't have had it. The vets fobbed me off with it being a coincidence, and I agreed to the second vaccination a month later. He was dead 5 days after that, after days of suffering because my vet told me to let the diuretic do it's work - but it had no chance of doing that, because the heart strings were just so destroyed by the vaccine. With hindsight, I shouldn't have had either vaccination, and should have let him go earlier after I stupidly did.
I also had a cavalier called Lexie - videos of her on my channel. She had a clear heart for years, and then suddenly 3/5 at 5 years old. At 8 an x-ray showed an enlarged heart, and she was put on Vetmedin and Libeo (diuretic). She had a bad reaction to Upcard. In the end her heart condition was spiralling with increasing the heart meds, and the vets wanted to also put her on cardalis. But I saw how Alfie had died suffering, because of listening to the vet - and Lexie was struggling to breath with crackling. So I let her go to find Alfie. Both these cavalier still wagged their tails to the very end. Whilst Lexie took to siting or laying down at every opportunity because she was tired, she was still very much herself, so please don't put it off. Alfie died suddenly, and broke me and Lexie. When I let Lexie go, the relief of knowing that she wouldn't suffer anymore far outweighed the grief.
@@markellis7819 That’s awful. Strangely Max was due a vaccine booster at the end of last year that I kept putting off but then I booked him in around 3 weeks ago, I wonder if that has anything to do with his decline? Yes, I can’t stand by and watch him suffer, as much as it kills us, he has a brother that he hasn’t spent the night away from ,he will be devastated also. They both had heart murmurs from birth that have gradually gotten worse, both of them are in heart failure, my other cavalier was actually worse but Max all of a sudden dipped. We got a heart scan for them and it showed Max had an abnormally enlarged heart, so like you say, the fluid etc that followed. I would say I have been quite lucky in life and not experienced much loss, but this is heart breaking for us, as you know the pain too well also. Just a horrible outcome.
@@chriskeane8476 I'm sorry for your loss. I found that it helped my grieving by sharing his stories, with photos and videos to my friends on social media. Celebrate his life with your friends
Alfie died in 2016 after the Versican Plus L4 vaccine destroyed his heart strings. As per the video, he died by drowning in his own fluids because I was advised by the vet to wait and let the diuretics do their work - which they had no chance of doing. There was no enlargement
Sadly, the website has been sold to someone else - and now used for the selling of personalised maps. So all those great aerial photos of Osnabruck have gone
Thanks Mark for sharing this video, I just bought a 2007 Focus and soon discovered same leak. Knowing now I can fix it and without gearbox removal makes my day. Many thanks!
My boy was on Vetmedin and Cardalis and diuretics. Lived 5 years after diagnosis. Ironically it was the diuretics that killed him by wearing out his kidneys, as the medication had worked for his heart. Had one last good day taken to all his favourite places before the vet came to the house, as I didn't want him going at their surgery. Miss him still.
It was the Zoetis Versican Lepto 4 vaccine that ripped his heart strings. He was given the vaccine when he already had a grade 3 murmur. The vet claimed it was just a coincidence, and the second dose a month later saw his die a few days later
