How to access the bulb holders of the Ford B-Max rear light units.
Reverse light on the Passenger side tailgate unit only. Fog light on the Driver side tailgate unit only. Indicator and Brake/Tail lights on the outside units only.
This is a quick video, filmed on a wet day with one pair of hands. Do feel free to upload a better quality film

What do you mean by “nothing” on the left side. Iv been told it’s a brake light that’s out

There is nothing there. It's just a lump of plastic, to look like a bulb. This is the back of the light. My thumb is by the dent that pretends to be a bulb. The Brake/Tail is in the outer light units photos.app.goo.gl/doGGRTXLfBfMc8PE9

Shocking that you need to remove the entire tailgate door card just to change a bulb. Those push studs easily break and are never quite as secure when you reinstall them. Interestingly, the owners manual shows removable access covers, but these have obviously been omitted as a cost saving.

Hi mate great video really helped me.. have you ever changed the front daylight running light bulbs at the bottom of the front bumper. And is it easy ?

Do you mean the fog lights, rather than the Daylight running lights - which are below the headlights. If you do mean the fog lights, then no. www.ford.co.uk/owner/my-vehicle/download-your-manual

The red in the actual tailgate light is just a lump of plastic. There is no bulb or bulb holder there.

I’m taking my b max to Germany. Would it be possible in your opinion to easily switch the reverse and brake light sides?

How long are you going to be there for? If you're permanently moving then just buy the European fog and reverse units off a European eBay site, and flip the wiring loom around. If you're being posted there then personally I wouldn't worry
