Your strategy might not work does also apply to the third game though despite it being arguably the worst because sometimes springtrap can just ignore your audio lore and the lure can even be disabled so you know the “l’ll just keep him in this area” may not work

Yea his so wrong the reason you die is that molten freddy casually teleport into you for no reason if you don’t know they can teleport if they reach the top middle vent and for some reason molten freddy does that in the second night🍝

When introducing the start of FNBR you missed an important aspect. STW was a failure. After seven years of development it was met with poor reviews, poor sales and a disinterested playerbase. Instead of scrapping it they simply reused the assets from STW to hack together a BR game. The story goes that the team working on UT4 did this, as development stalled there for a few months then FNBR dropped. They needed to do something to save the almost decade of work they had put into a flop. Most of the original BR mechanics were lifted from STW - it seems players liked the gameplay but not the rest of the microtransaction and mobile player retention mechanics that it was chock full of. Epic have a track record for making games accessible, they did it for UT, slowly stripping out "skill" as the titles progressed to make them more accessible. Somewhat off topic but I believe, had epic realised what building would become BR would never have shipped the way it did. They then left "fixing" it for too long before applying the small changes. Had they done more MANY players would have been upset. But this is kind of off point. The weapons are ripped directly from STW - there spread and bloom is used to set the engagement distance. The same applies in BR, spread and bloom set engagement distances. You even say this, that getting close to the enemy is what they want. That is exactly what they wanted with the way OG weapons were setup, and the engagement distance from STW was perfect for the scale and the rest of the game. The problem here is BR world scale was much larger, so engagements could be at very long range compared to STW. It simply meant that longer range engagements are non-viable, but this was not clearly messaged and thus much angst around bloom. However epic had no idea that building would go the way it did. They have said a number of times they were surprised what player did with building - all their BR introduction cinematics had forts players had built shooting at each other, they truly had no idea. They did not know players would build, not even the rudimentary build battles in season 3 or so. They were only using bloom to set engagement range, not to promote building. The AR was useful at much longer range than the shotgun even with bloom, so there was a difference between them. If there wasn't there would be no reason to carry one, but back then everyone did. There is another reason for how the weapons are setup - it makes aiming "easier". If you are at a range where half the crosshair area covers your opponent and you keep them within this area you will hit 50% of your shots (over enough time). This is much easier than keeping the dot on the player. It allows more leeway. Finally the reason shotguns are better in build is the burst nature. You could easily hit an opponent in build using an AR, as the crosshair will cover most of them, but you will only get a few shots before a wall is thrown up in front of you. With a shotgun you can frontload a lot more damage. This is balanced out by the firerate, which we conveniently circumvented using double pump, another weird design choice epic made (and not the first time, a similar feature existed in ut2003). I find it wild that epic, who had worked on the game for seven years had never bothered playing a pvp version of it to see what building would do.

OK listen, as soon as I started the night I checked the motion sensor. both of the animatronics were at the top so I keep them there by using the audio lure, and I swear to you that I got killed almost 15s in the night by that mf in the thumbnail.

Have had this video in my to-watch pile for a while and only now got around to it. Super fascinating! As someone who can't play most video games due to motion sickness, I found the thing about it being connected to mindset fascinating??? I have also been doing vision therapy for a few months now (the legit kind not the quack versions) and have been thinking about how tracking, patterning, spacial awareness, peripheral awareness, etc. effect what games I've been able to play.

Omggg yeeeeees. I just spent like an hour trying to find this video in my watch history, cuz i couldn't remember the name. The "E" jokes made me giggle so much, and the pacing of the vid is so good, it really stayed with me for the last 5 months. I recently got into Resident Evil and was constantly reminded by my brain how it checks all the point of a good horror game here and YES it is given as example, so now I'm happy :) A like, so i don't lose it again

I disagree about there being no optimal strategy for FNaF: Pizzeria Simulator. I never used the motion sensor or audio lure and rarely ever died. I completed the entire game and all the Xbox achievements in 5 days (ironic a bit), by just using the silent ventilation. I took all the ads for money and every salvage when possible.

Fnaf6 terrify me because you are in small area and you have not very good defense no doors no mask just crappy computer and the salvage sections are also terrifying and scariest thing is that you put yourself in this bad situation it's not unfair it's YOUR FAULT you bought risky things you accepted sponsors that distracts you and you have to wait long to finish tasks and when you are doing your tasks that makes you defenseless

Etra, it makes me really sad that this effort is barely appreciated. Just 1000 views here after you said it flopped on your second channel, and it had 3k views there... I hope people will be able to find your modern content and you'll explode in popularity soon enough again as I can imagine it's not easy to fund these projects

@@EtraGames Lol I've done that already, and not much else since i can't really support you financially at the moment. One piece of advice from me if you want to get the old viewers back is just to publish videos more frequently. Don't worry if they aren't good enough or not the highest quality in the world, but having something to show at least once a month could make youtube push your channel to more people. Your views were doing fine before you had that huge gap between uploads. You do whatever you want of course I'm just saying this is the way if you want more attention to your projects or just good old money. I'm sure you can make any game topic fun and get it done in less than a month without taking months of high quality editing for a longer and more meaningful video, or whatever other reason you have for infrequent uploads.
