Beautiful!!!! ❤ Hey I have an off topic question…. 😁 I received an angraecum didieri which had some black spots on the lower leaves and then they all have fallen off 😮 the top two leaves are fine and it has a new leaf coming up…..could you tell me what might be causing this? It was mounted in an air pot but I noticed a couple snails so I removed it and the roots are actually looking good. I got it all cleaned up but I wanna make sure nothing more happens to it. Thanks 🙏 😊
@thenaturecompany
@thenaturecompany 3 дня назад
not uncommon for them to get black spots on their leaves and perhaps a little transplant shock or mechanical damage causes the leaves to drop or just acclimatezation to the new environment . remember high humidity is the trick for success with them 👍

Kleptomaniac here! Unfortunately no orchid preys available. I 'do' succulents and cactus. One big success was the big plant in the back of this and other videos, the one with the spotted leaves. Still don't know its name of it. 'Found' it in the entrance hall of a wellness center. Its growing well and even flowers. Many regards ❣
@thenaturecompany
@thenaturecompany 3 дня назад
Oh for sure I can do succulents .. I have so much fun propagating them 💯 the tall plant is Dracaena surculosa . It will grow from cutting too but it will take a very long time to look like this so better to buy a rooted plant or divide a piece out of the root stock . 🫂💕

@thenaturecompany

are you looking to plant it in coconut husk only ? or mix the coconut husk with other media ? the mini Cymbidiums are easy enough to grow in it , the others in theory are but in practice can be more challenging . Very culture dependent .

I have Coelogyne "unchained Melody" which is a cross between Coelogyne Cristata and Flaccida and it is in full bloom right now. It is covered in beautiful flowers. My orchid lives outside all year until it flowers and then I bring it indoors so we can admire the beautiful blooms. Unchained Melody does not seem to have any perfume at all which is a bit if a shame, however, the blooms certainly create a beautiful show. The climate in Sydney Australia has hot humid summers and cold wet winters. As always thanks for sharing this great video and your amazing Coelogyne....... Helen from Sydney Australia
