I wish I had watched your video before I already bought a 50' Uberflex hose and a Ridge washer gun. Just ordered an adapter and have to order the quick connects separately. If I have ordered the Yamatic kit, with the hose, gun, and quick connects, it would have saved me $$$
Can that rust be fixed, ya anything can, but would it be worth it? That's a ton of fabrication, welding, and body work. Strip it for parts bro and find one that hasn’t been driven in the Midwest salt for almost 30 years
Is it possible to leave the axle in the hub assembly when lowering that steering knuckle off the ball joint shaft? Or would the CV housing prevent the knuckle from getting low enough to clear the shaft?
Thank you so much this video is so helpful. Also does any know if an automatic EX floor harness will work in a manual? I assume it should work, but have no idea. Thanks

Just picked mine up today in my 2010 chevrolet equinox just had to move the passenger front seat forward and tip the back forward. I'm sure i'm late on my comment...lol
@@mitchwilley5011 No worries, thanks for the reply. I got mine the other day but haven't opened the box yet. I've been waiting for the utility lines to be marked
Thanks for this! Doing it soon myself. Recently did a motor swap and next is the auto-swap. 24:25 - You dropped the tranny the HARD way by not separating the torque converter from the flywheel/flexplate first. When you pulled the air box and cruise I was waiting for you to pop that access boot and take those 4 bolts out... and you never did... lol
Is the paint damaged? My car is nice under the bad hin plastic dip the prior owner did. Black over red. Doing by hand is a nightmare but I don't want to strip the clearcoat.
The paint on this car was already rough. The only area that was “damaged” was the clear on the hood, but it was chipped/flaking before the dip. Any of the areas that had good paint, like the door jambs stayed intact. Any of the staining that occurred faded away after letting the car sit out in the sun. Other than that, Dip dissolver works great.
Off road build it put 265 75 16 all terrain not skinny tires that look off road actually get some off road ones get rid of the black things u put on please lift it 3inch front 2 inch back your done
All the 2002-2005 Explorers have the same problem. It's not the adhesive so much as the plastic they used has issues in cold weather and shrinks a lot causing it to crack at weak points. The new parts are re-designed to prevent cracking. You can buy painted replacements to match factory colors. It's a lot easier to paint it before installation. Sorry, don't like the look without the Ford logo.
