check the video description now mate, i've uploaded a folder with all the skins in it. Hopefully that works for you. It needs to go in the content/tracks/bathurst_fm7/skins folder (for the forza 7 bathurst version)
@@happilyaverageracerI have one last question too because I'm a sim race amateur, do you have any setups or setup recommendations for those V8 Supercars? (I mean the AU and VT) I'm hoping to get a similar time to what you did there, I use a G29 customized to be like a V8 Supercar by the way.
@Dweller12-tu5on yeah you need to drop the ride heights right down. The original physics of the mod are very "bouncy" and I was part of a discord group that was working to settle down then physics to something more realistic but I lost interest and haven't touched these mods in ages
ive just tried the open beta and its artocious stil. like they have to expecta lot of backlash from this. like first of all the games physics are pretty bad and the gt3 wants to spin all the time and 2nd, the game doesnt have a clear direction whch i dont know what you think, but in 2024 when all sims know their market, its difficult to see what the game is trying to achieve or what their audiince is or who they are trying to be. like is it just a competitor to ams 2 in which case i would buy ams. is it trying to be like a cheap iracing, in which case i would rather buy assetto corsa and play lfm, is it trying to do endurance, in which case i would rather buy lmu or acc. like im strugging for good things here, do you agree?
I agree it will get lost in the current market especially once AC Evo drops. I actually like how it drives tbh on my equipment, FFB does have some grain to it but not as bad as ACC. I'm running the gt3s with TC at 1 and not having too much trouble keeping them on the road
@@happilyaverageracer maybe its just me and my Logitech g920 but I genuinely think its just a lost cause. the company is new so its not like ac evo where its a known company and there isn't eve setups. and not even the devs have been like "clear roadmap and what we are trying to achieve" and 0 quid for an OPEN BETA skin and track when the skin is yucky to most people.
As it stands now, even with this update, there's not much that Rennsport has going for it. With AC Evo coming too, Rennsport will need a lot more to be competitive.
If, and a big if, ACE does it's multiplayer properly with LFM/ iRacing type rankings ingame and good struckture, Rennsport may possibibly be DoA. With also good old AC, iRacing, ACC around as well as LMU, among others it may take a lot to get people over. Add in sunk costs in previous titles. And i am not sure if the more serious sim comunity is ready for car tokens, bling skins etc.
This might be helpfull Max Wheel Torque Capability This setting dictates the linear range that the FFB will activate to. If you find that your force feedback is clipping too much/too often, you can increase that value until it doesn't clip anymore and reduce it if you find it to rarely ever clip. It does not directly relate to your wheelbase torque capability. Sensitivity This setting dictates the linearity of the force feedback. 100 makes the force feedback linear, numbers below 100 drive it towards a cubic curve (so very little force for small details, kinda akin to power steering on cars) and numbers above 100 will give it a more logarithmic look and as a result it will amplify smaller vibrations and road details. We'd advise to just play around with those settings a bit to find something that works best for you!
All I can see when these titles are all a bit the same to gather interest is multiplayer events that cater for different abilities. The titles that can do this the best will probably get more support?
Rennsports problem is that it will price itself out of the market. The online community is such a huge factor for me, it's the reason I stick with ams2 even though it doesn't drive the best - but I love the group of guys we race with and that more than makes up for any shortcomings in the sim
2:06 nb i got ya bout 2:05.81 hmu and ill send you our discord come have a race with some older sim guys who drift but can slay tracks too nice work also you shoild get rsr live time so we can see each others times
Nice Vid John been looking for this forever, I've followed the link provided for the track, but there is no option to download being a newbie am I missing something TIA
Downloaded the beta yesterday and was hooning around in a 911 and it felt pretty good so far. i wouldn’t say it’s the most engaging sim racing title but all the new sims coming out are gonna be seperated by the car physics, tyre model and how accurate the FFB in handling under/over steer, whether we feel the car is connected to the road and turns when you want it to. graphics and proportion of objects and cars - not all of them look like 1:1 to real life due to the FOV and project correction. visually its similar to iracing but rennsport will have a lot to do to match ACC, automobilista 2 and what i think is the best looking pc sim racing title right now - Le Mans Ultimate. i am very happy with the audio in Rennsport, really like how the cars sound compared to most others. exciting time to be a sim racing fan, so many options to choose from. just wish someone would use Unreal Engine 5 and really push the visual aspect to the max. now i just need to stick with one title and get good. haven’t tried VR on this title and i assume it’s pointless until the game is close to release.
In the original Assetto there absolutely are V8 supercars going right back to the 60s ACC stuff ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hG_KfniyL34.html
