You are the only person that I can say is the best at sewing I have seen many videos and attend classes but you are the only one who I find so professional and one who gives very good lessons thank you ❤
I wish I had come across your video well before I find them very helpful and you explain so much in details, you share so much information, I will be going through all the videos thank you 🙏 ❤
Loving these videos from the G and G team (tuning in from Canada), it will be wonderful to have Lauren back when she is ready, but I am also hoping that you will all continue to make the Team videos, they are just so great😊
Thank you Lauren, your tips are amazing! Excellent presentation and so easy to follow. And...I have been stuck resting with health issues and have thoroughly enjoyed watching all the GBSB series, fun to watch you again.
thinking of making very lightweight loos pants with an elastic waist band for the super hot summer days to wear with a tunic top. Would be lovely to see the fabrics in some garments for larger bodies. Because it's cotton and so light it would be perfect.
They spent a lot of time creating this kit to make it simple to make the pattern, too bad they didn't go the extra length to add instructions on how to sew the actual garment after the pattern is created! esp for the high price of the kit. you are left guesstimating esp if your a beginner.
How fun is that window display?! I'm not normally a fan of Linen, but all of the garments in the window are just yummy and one of the double gauzes would make a nice casual camp type shirt for my husband. Now I just have to find a men's shirt pattern for it. Thanks for a wonderful video! You always get my creativity flowing!
If only I had watched this before rushing the buttonholes on my Marlo sweater yesterday. I had to unpick as the thick jersey did not feed at all well. I’d love a short class on buttonholes.
Great video. I love seeing the new fabrics. Can you tell me what type of fabric Hannah’s green Donny shirt is made from? It looks great. Green is my favorite color and I'd love to make one just like it! Thanks!
I am about to make a shacket from Robert Kaufman Mammoth flannel and wanted to try pattern matching for the first time. I found your blogpost and then came to this video - I really appreciate the level of detail in this tutorial which will help me make decisions about what parts of my shacket I want to match and what I don’t mind not matching. Thank you!
Lovely informative video again. Wow, those Liberty fabrics are gorgeous. I can definitely vouch for Jalie patterns, I have sewn several of them, and they are beautifully drafted, instructions are also great, plus each pattern comes in 27 sizes, which include children’s sizes!
I have used Prym snaps for nany years bit have a question. Is it possible to apply the button on an item which is reversible so there us a decorative button on both sides?
So many yummy fabrics! When Lauren returns to these weekly videos, I hope she will continue to include the rest of you as you've done a wonderful job and it's so nice to see and hear from the women who write the lovely notes I get with my orders. Thank you.
