Live and Smokin' is my holy bible. "Hey, icecream truck! Hey boy! Can you turn that music off, nobody be wanna hearing that tink-e-ling shit this time 'a mornin! This ain't a neighborhood, this a residential area!" Not bad for a Dutch Lard, hah?
I used to steal my grandma's 8-track and albums and sneak off with my friends and listen to Richard Pryor I'm 50 years young now and still as funny as it was the first day I listen to it....RIH.. OG
This is truly a masterpiece... I will always treasure this wonderful Work of Art by the one and only master ... RICHARD PRYOR . REST IN PEACE MY BROTHER !!! 😇😇😇
I can’t help but find George Carlin funnier than this guy. Just the start of George Carlin talking about motivation books and tapes gets me laughing every time. If you’re motivated enough to go to the store then you don’t need the book, put it back, tell the clerk f@ck you and I’m going home!
He said the sun cheer you up inside that’s why they didn’t want us to have no of it. Do you know what that mean? Stop and think about this shit for a minute!
This makes me realize something about me. Ive always liked women either black as hell or white as snow. Ive never liked anything in between it seems. Ive had them but, attraction wise that was it. Weird.
I’m white and 72 years old and I was listening to Mr. Pryor in 1973 as a young Marine in California. RIP Richard. Even God will appreciate your comedy!!!!🙏🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There will never be another comedian like Richard Pryor Remembering listening to his albums when I was a kid!!! Worked hard and played hard RIP RP You are missed! ♥️
True Random Story: I finished my mile walk this morning and am sitting near a gorgeous fountain at a park. I haven't caught sunrise in a while. As it came out, I closed my eyes, basked in its warmth, and heard Richard's voice: "Keep some sunshine on your face." I smiled and turned my head over and over to ensure the light touched every part of my countenance. Boy, did it fill me up. The sun is inspiring. 🌅💛 Something nudged me to find this Mudbone monologue, as I haven't watched "Sunset Strip" in ages. When he said the sun came out on Wednesday, I gasped inside because today is Wednesday. 😂 As often as I have seen this standup, I forgot that small detail. Yes, the sun rises daily, but my arbitrarily revisiting this clip felt like a God wink. 🙌🏾😉 It has been a rough life season for me, and He knows this. But He is still there among everything, speaking in ways He knows we'll understand. Thank God for Richard Pryor. He was living art: through all his pain, knowledge, and joy, he put a smile on so many faces and hearts in a way nobody else has. Forever my inspiration. ❤ This anecdote tells us we don't need much to be happy. And whether we are where we want to be or have what we wish, make life a grand old ball. Here's to living, not existing. 💛☀️🌅🌞🌻😉 I love you guys.
He was gonna register to vote I knew he was crazy then😂😂😂Hard times didn't have a year they just called it hard times😂😂 they playin with the sun now chemtrails 😎
