Thanks for checking out the channel. This channel is primarily catfishing either from the bank or a kayak. Each video we try to share tips that go along with where we are fishing. Our goal is to not only share our knowledge but bring you along on each new memory that is made.
Kinda wish they did a 1 time payment option also. I really wanted a rod with my name on it which is why I used madkatz to begin with over catch the fever. But now bein lucky enough to get a record on a mad katz rod n doing everything right. It's been 471 days and I have yet to see even a sample rod... at this point I'd take a 1 time payout.
Awesome job caring more about the fish more than the record! Glad you got it certified and also was able to recover the fishes health! Hope he lives another 50 years
I personally can guarantee you a bigger catch in Rockwood Tennessee. I've never been to a place like caney creek marina off 70 that has more readily available shad, shinners an alewife all year round. I personally promise you nobody's been able to access McDonald bends warm water discharge out the power plant since 9/11.... The Mayfly season on the river is a magical thing at sun down. Gotta see it to believe. I do miss Norris reservoirs teal blue water and giant schools of monstrous blue gill under hickory star Marina back in the 90's. Apparently blue gill in 50 feet of water gotta be at least two pounds, kids don't swim between house boats to catch fish please... 😅
What's your rig setup? Are your sinkers getting snagged in the rocks? Btw, i appreciate you utubers not revealing fishing spots, because if you do then everybody and their brothers will be there ruining a good spot. Either figure it out or find your own spots!
@@shannonlocklear8116 yeah the penns that I have are. I do use some Daiwa seagates that are non level wind. Love those for casting distance and line retrieval speed.
What would make it the ultimate kayak is a pdl drive, frontier12 is a great kayak very stable and love how you can add pretty much anything to it!! I sure wish I i hadn't sold the 2 I owned 😢
As long as there is a little flow then it usually helps hold you tight enough to prevent a lot of wind sway or blowing you back up river. Another anchor would definitely work also if you have one with you.
He woke up and chose violence lol. You do you. Just dont take them big breeders to use as cut bait please. Ive seen that before and thats just wrong...regardless of the species.
@@nccatfishing I told my friend one time when we were bass fishing he had a Texas rig and to mess with him I told him you want a bobber he pushed me in the lake
I had a bass guy say that i was the reason he couldn't catch any good fish bc i was on the dock cast netting herring for bait. Like I'm cleaning the whole lake out lol. I said "yea I'm sure it's not the 10 or 12 bass yall leave dead or dying at the boat ramp everytime yall have a tournament 🙄"
@@nccatfishing all I fish with is bobbers there is a hole at my pond where you have to use bobbers to catch 5 pounders otherwise you catch 3 pounders FYI this is channel catfish I talking about
I know I’ve been slacking. I have a stack of trips to edit into full length videos as soon as I get a little time to sit down and edit. Appreciate you taking time to watch the videos 😎👊🏼
Yeah I just started watching you a few days ago I stumbled upon your video didn't know you had your own channel yeah I'm glad I did I watched your interview about the record blue you caught and you are a very humble man I ask the lord to bless you and you're family
Coming from Maryland got stationed at Bragg last year was wondering if you could let me know where the water is this calm in NC I have catfished around Fayetteville in the cape fear but the current is so strong
Hey Corey, welcome to NC and thank you for your service. All of our rivers will offer this at certain times of year. Winter and early spring generally has a lot of flow but from around May until October you can find it like this on all of our rivers, unless there has been a big rain. During the winter I spend a lot more time at our lake chains to avoid the heavy current. Once the river settles down you can look at places like deep creek outfitters, or the park for some nice bank fishing opportunities. You also have some good fishing below lock three outside of Fayetteville.
