Thanks mate. Yeh with both the QS210 and BT1 I turned the motion effects down quite a bit. Not a fan of hitting a bump and being thrown out the window. New BT1 gives the most enjoyment I find
Hi mate, the button box is a SimPush one off AliExpress. It was about $180AuD if that helps. Have not had any dramas with anything from SimPush. Check out clutch kick in Sydney. They have some pretty tech ones as well.
Nice rig! Congrats!! Um question though. Do you think its possible to use the QS 210 motion in an apartament building if I make an acoustic isolation (drumm set proof)?
Hey mate, 100% you could! Did you manage to watch my video of the sound test of both the QS210 and the BT1? It makes minimal sound opposed to others on the market and I doubt it would be noticeable. The actuators sit into little cups as well so that would absorb some of the sound. Hope that helps a bit
@@primalinvest7477 Thats great man! I've watched your video of the sound, but I was still incertain about the noise. Now you clarify things. You helped me a lot, thank you!!
@@primalinvest7477 I also really want to make a video of a rig tour of my rig but I don't know how to do it. I hope you do it so I can learn from your experience.
I'm confused, is this JUST the belt tensioner, or is there some sort of motion you have setup? Your whole rig is moving, not just your seat. Is that part of the belt?
I will do a setup video over the coming weeks of my actual setup. You are correct but! I’m running the Qubic Motion QS210 Actuators which each have 60mm of travel and can simulate approx 1.5G and also the belt tensioner which has only just been released.
Hi, I'm not interested in a complete motion system. But the belt tensioner really appeals to me. I saw your previous answer and a priori having just the tensioner would already be very good. Another question please: I have a tubular cockpit (GT Omega Titan), do you think the bts1 can be adapted to it or do I need a profiled rig ?
As far as I’m aware, it is designed for an aluminium profile rig however I can’t see it being an issue. You would need to modify your frame to accomodate it plus a 4 point race harness provided you already have a race bucket seat. As for your previous comment that you’re not interested in motion. Have you ever tried it as that’s a fairly bold statement to just say you’re not interested in motion platforms. They make a massive difference to the immersion and without it and the belt tensioner, I get nowhere near the enjoyment without it.
@@primalinvest7477 Thanks for your reply, Yes, I've had the chance to try out a motion system on several times. I like it but nothing more. It's probably surprising for you but it's not really a priority for me, especially after playing it for several hours. I'm going to do the VR first, and then I was just thinking about the tensioner.
Thanks mate. Yes it is slowly coming along. Clutch kick have been fantastic with the journey so far. Just ordered the Porsche 10.3” DDU and Simedal GT3 wheel from them. Will unfortunately have to rip right apart in coming months to install the Qubic CH2 💪😍
@@primalinvest7477 The BT1, I will be ordering the QS220 by end of summer hopefully. I sim racing but mostly flight sims and I’m definitely interested in the “G” effect the belts will provide!
I've been interested in this belt tensioner for a couple of months now as a way to add immersion without going full motion. I just placed my order after watching this video.
Mate 100% they are worth it. Video was a little rushed but seems to be assisting people in making the decision. I thought it was a gimic but glad I grabbed it as sooo much fun. Feel free to mention my name to Clutch Kick Sydney if that’s where you purchased it for a discount.
@@primalinvest7477thanks man. I ordered from a distributor in Florida because I’m in the states. Are you using a five or a four point harnesses? My instinct tells me to get a five point because of how it will pull the belt back more than up (at least it seems that way to me). Edit: I rewatched the video and you said you have a 5 point. 👍
@@dauntae24 mate I’m using a 4 point with a 3” belt. The point is more than enough as soon as the shoulder belts tension, it’s against the waist belts. Enjoy mate, they’re so much fun!
No worries mate. I will try whip something up quickly over the coming days. My biggest gripe out of the box was the gear shifting. You would shift gears whilst accelerating and then about half a second later it jerks the belts at full tilt. I’ve adjusted that to be a lot more subtle and it’s definitely that piece of sim racing gear that was missing. Will it make you faster, probably not. Will it create a massive smile across your face … hell yeah it will.
Hi, great video! I'm looking into this belt tensioner. As you already have it, would you be so kind to give us the seat inserts measures? I'm wondering if they are going to fit in my seat shoulder holes. Thank you so much
Mate they are 73mm x 53mm. Once fitted, it only adds 13mm to the gap area and can take a 2” or 3” belt. 2” would be the preferred but. Hope that helps ya out. Any questions mate, send them through and I’ll do my best.
Why are the AI you're racing against so unfathomably slow? Your average race laptime of 2:26 is already very slow, so to think you set AI much slower than that is kind of absurd. There are no battles here - you're just passing very slow opponents without being challenged. It's not exciting to watch. Not to mention your audio desyncs over the video's runtime. Watch at the beginning, and then skip to around 17 minutes in and you'll see the desync.
Hi mate, thanks for the feedback. Currently I’m still learning the game again with all the new gear and yes, the difficulty needs to go up. Unsure why the audio has desync over time. I noticed that after I uploaded it so looking into other alternatives.
100% !!! The belt tensioner I feel adds more to the immersion than the 3DOF which really surprised me. I think they all have a purpose. The BT1 adds by simulating g forces under braking, accelerating, gear shifts and negative g when the belts loosen right off when going through the dipper at Bathurst. The 3DOF gives a sense of movement under the car and brings the detail of the track through the rig whilst the Simagic direct drive is great for feeling slips, slides and road texture as well.
You can’t go wrong mate! Hit up Sam & Emma from Clutch Kick Sydney and mention myself for 5% off. Every little bit counts! As for motion mate, I was so hesitant between the 210 and 220 but glad I went the 210. If you love flight sims and off road racing then the 220 but if solely race gt3 etc then the 210 is more than enough.
Yes. Through the Qubic motion software you’re able to adjust the Seatbelt tensioner independently of the motion regardless of how you have it linked together.
@@hyprspec to some degree sure there is going to be a tiny delay. The telemetry data is sent from game straight to the motion and seatbelt tensioner and then back to the wireless wheel. But in complete honesty, it’s barely noticeable and not even enough to warrant stating a delay imo.
@@primalinvest7477 thanks ! I completely understand what you mean. The numbers will show us there is "delay" but in use, that delay is so small it is practically unnoticeable. I think you're the first one in getting these videos out into the world. It is so nice to finally get actual feedback about this unit. It seems as though user experience thus far has been impossible to come by.
@@hyprspecQubic products are just one step ahead. There is no comparison between them and other systems on the market. It’s quiet, really responsive and highly adjustable. I will try upload a video in the coming days of the settings
I was going to ask how noisy is it but your whole rig seems noisy ha, spescially your shifter. Hard to hear any actual noise from the tensioner. A video with the game sound down and the motion off would give a better idea of noise. Looks great though
Hey mate. Happy to upload a video without any game sound in the near future. I will have to agree, all the sequential shifters are loud! However, you would be happy to know that the Qubic motion is nearly silent and the belt tensioner also does not make a sound. Qubic motion is commercial grade quality and it definitely excels with the products they make. I’ve tested many and this was the most quiet but also the most responsive. Hope that helps.
John, your wish is my command. New video uploaded and will become available at 1500 AEST. It is a hot lap around Bathurst, I went paddle shifters to keep noise down and used the DJI Pocket 3 with DJI Mic 2 to record. As you will be able to tell from the footage, Qubic products are very quiet. Hope that helps with your enquiry and request.
Hey bro, usually 2-4 teams of 6-10 players at each session. Usually you are required to pre book as it’s quite popular but Tobey and the rest of the staff can hook you up! Each session there are various game modes, hire gear or can purchase your own and best part of all, the players are quite friendly and will help you along your journey. If you want to play pro, there are speedball scrims which teach you tactics and it’s saved me bulk money rather than playing in paintball tournaments around Australia.
Sorry just seen your comment. The ZV-E10 and SC2 have limited connectivity. The ways I described in the video are the only ways. If you use tracking, it will only record a low resolution video directly onto your phone. This is due to requiring information between the two devices required two cables. Any Sony camera with the newer software and operates off usb c will work fine. Raven Eye was just not built for the Sony ZV-E10 to be compatible sorry.
Thank you very useful! I don’t if it can be of any help but I just find a guy Mr ZTv which solved the connection problem with zv e10 and Ronin sc2. You should go to menu and switch off all the phone connections and switch on only the pc via usb connection. Now I can manage focus, shooting, iso, aperture… everything directly from the gimbal.
Yes you have to switch it to pc mode to get a live view on the back screen and to make the connection. The Sony ZVE10 and DJI gimbals are not fully compatible. This is because the Sony ZVE10 uses the old architecture and requires the Sony multi cable to have full functionality. USB C will only be supported on Sony cameras with the new architecture and they will work with the DJI gimbals. The Sony ZVE10 doesn’t support all camera compatibility through just one cable. You can do one or the other. You also can’t record onto the camera whilst using raven eye. If you use the gimbal in basic form you can but then the gimbal is a waste of money. If you do more research you will also find a hat people are experiencing the black screen and lack of feature support in the new rs3 series. Hope that helps
@@primalinvest7477 I see... thank you for your detailed explanation! I thought that there would be better compatibility since the zv1 looks to work seamlessly but actually zv e10 won't 😅let's hope that a firmware update will solve the issue! In the meantime I can at least do something thanks to your help!
Is it at the moment so that if you use active tracking on rsc 2 and zve10 that it won't record on the camera itself? I'm so confused about conflicting information everywhere. I'm wanting to see a live view and control active tracking from my phone, and hope that the video is recorded as normal on the zve10 itself.
Hey mate. Yeh the only way you can see a live view is if the footage is recorded directly onto phone. Sony don’t offer much support and dji are just as bad for support. Even with the latest software updates on both, they still won’t talk to each other. You won’t be able to use the motion lapse or Timelapse function of the gimbal either. It will move the gimbal but won’t allow recording on the camera. A real disappointment! My suggestion would be buy a dji om5 and use your phone.
Step 1: Ensure the gimbal is NOT in sleep mode. Step 2: Go to the network options in the camera and select Network 1 -> PC Remote Function -> PC Remote Cnct Method and change it to Wifi Direct. The LCD screen on your camera and your phone will now show something about USB. Step 3: Put the gimbal in sleep mode. Go to the menu. The menu screen will now show up on your phone only. Step 4: Change the PC Remote Cnct Method back to USB. Step 5: Take the gimbal out of sleep mode.
doesn't work. tried what you said. still black screen. you show two different connections, any way you can do one video that walks all the way through including zve10 set up instructions? been trying to get this to work for a LONG time
Hey mate, the Sony ZVE10 isn’t compatible with the DJI RSC2. You have to swap the cables over dependent on what you are aiming to do. If you use the live view like I show in the video, it is only recording onto your mobile device and not onto the camera itself. The new gimbals are also not supported. Hope that helps

Hey mate, won’t make any difference. If you’re using without raven eye it’s only one cable. If using raven eye, you will need 2 x usb c. Note: you will need to swap location of usb c on dji ronin when alternating.
Does the screen turn black as soon as you hit record? I had this and it’s caused by a setting within the camera for external display. Hope that helps :)
Do you have the doejoe? Unfortunately they don’t make it for the Jnr I believe. The kamado joe jnr is the best cooker. I’ve owned big offset reverse flow smokers and other eggs but this is by far the best. What do you have?
Hey, I use the sigma Prime 16mm F1.4. To get this to balance on the gimbal I needed to buy an aluminium cage to balance the gimbal otherwise the vertical axis wouldn’t stabilise and put extra strain on the gimbal motors. What lens are you using?
@@primalinvest7477 may i ask what type of aluminium cage is that you mentioned about? as i just bought my dji rsc2 to day and i also want to use it with sony zv-e10 + sigma 16mm. F1.4 .
