I am Simon Katz and this is my channel. Here, I will share my experiences in entrepreneurship, business, investing, finance, real estate, and life. I have taken several businesses to millions in sales, hired hundreds of employees, and opened several offices globally. My success has allowed me to invest in Real Estate in both residential and commercial properties with tenants generating passive income. As an American Express Centurion (Black Card) Member, Chase JP Morgan Reserve Card Member, and a first-time homeowner by age 25, I have hustled to get to where I am with no financial support from my parents, who are first-generation immigrants. I look forward to sharing my experiences so you can reach your money goals.
I am a husband and father of two. I love to work out, enjoy fast cars, motorcycles, and nice watches.

Great video, thank you, I am trying to give my Land Rover a makeover like yours. Can you give me the specs on the exhaust and wheels? Also, can you recommend any place where I can procure the parts? Of course, from the internet because I am in tx. Thanks again...
Today Amex charge card approvals are a lot easier because they have measures in place to shut down your card to limit any risk for them. However, the focus on the charge cards causes people to overlook that Amex has regular cash back credit cards and cobranded credit cards with stores and hotels.
The Cobalt card is a great card and it is not offered in the U.S. Only Green, Gold. Platinum, Centurion and Plum is offered in the U.S. I have not seen the Cobalt card offered on the Amex website of any country outside of Canada.
One guy said he was approved the Amex Blue Business card with 0% APR and a $30k credit limit, so he decided to buy a $24k car with the Amex credit card. He even called Amex and told them that he is at a car dealership and that he is about to buy a car with the Amex card and an Amex Rep. told him that he is good to go. He made the purchase on his Amex card and the next day he received an email from Amex that his Amex account is flagged and Amex is doing a financial review. He sent Amex all the financial documents they requested and the next day, Amex lowered the credit limit from $30k to $4k and that Amex card remained at $4k credit limit for several years.
Challenge him instead of bitching would be a better option Especially after he just beat a navy seal with a mma background lmao, he barely even tried. He would have wasted him
The Priority Pass Lounge at MSY (New Orleans) is a MUST AVOID for PP people. Very low selection of food and limited cocktails... don't bother. Just go and eat at the airport restaurants and pay thru the nose for it. Oye
@@SimonKatzShow It is very nice and it is the smallest I've been in . Pita points, some salad, bowl of fruit with a menu of 3 small bites... really? We were not looking for a 3 course meal at all... We walked out and ate near the gate. Not what one would think as a PRIORITY PASS lounge. A dissapointment
Simon - Awesome review. Given that you have JPMR and MS Plat, it will be great if you can share some insights on how you choose PB / PWM. While MS is killing it in WM place especially in SV and JP has awesome PB, BoA Merril Lynch etc also have strong PB / PWM teams. Will be glad to hear your review of these programs and how you decide to allocate your wealth to one / two of them
Unfortunately Amex has been in decline here in Europe. Platinum card used to be really good with all the benefits but not anymore. We used to get 1.5 points per euro but they reduced the earning only to one point per euro. We are not able to get 5 x points from flight tickets or restaurants like people in the USA. Only 1 point per euro. They also removed concierge service completely and the fine hotels & resorts program is worthless. You were able to call to platinum line and ask for good hotel deals but they removed it 3 years ago. The also removed Marriott gold card. We have to pay almost 800 euros for the platinum card and the only good benefit anymore is lounge access. Also the card acceptance here in Europe has gone down even in tourist destinations. I have traveled all around Europe during my vacations and I have noticed that I’m not able to use Amex at all because it’s just not accepted anywhere except in hotels and in high-end stores like Louis Vuitton. Visa and Mastercard are go-to cards. If you find a restaurant that accepts Amex, it’s an exception.
Unfortunately, American Express charges the highest processing fees as a small business owner. I personally have noticed that I do like some of their perks as a consumer but at the same time they need to be a little bit more reasonable in regards to the rates why are they so much higher than Visa or MasterCard?
I’ll never understand why Costco won’t accept Amex? They used to until they signed with visa/citi. They make enough to accept all brands. Yeah for the skimmers I use tap to pay and have the app notifications turned on for every transaction.
Quick question also as multiple CC holder (Chase/Amex/C1) - did you deliberately put luxury / travel spendings on Plat for Centurion application? As my first reaction for any big spending other than airline or something I potentially return I will always reach out to other “catch all” cards instead of plat
Hi Simon. Love your content, but this guys a typical agent with this high and mighty mentality. I’m a Realestate developer. In LA specializing in high end residential. These guys don’t understand that they’re not the one driving up the price. The market dictates it. If there is a bidding war, it’s not because he’s a guru. It’s simply two sophisticated buyers (at this price point) that see value in paying over asking. In this day and age with Zillow and Redfin, it’s the buyer finding properties in the zip codes they are wanting to buy in. What’s this guy bringing to the table!? Other than the standard issued Hermes “H” belt all agents in LA wear. Hosting BS club like parties. If you really have balls, developed these properties. Invest millions. hedge that you will turn a profit in this volatile climate. Not cash in on almost a six figure commission!
This is terrible. Pick one of these lame cliches we here all the time: We need to “vote”, “sign useless and meaningless petitions”, “attend town halls”, “hold dog and pony show hearings”, “sue”, “pass more laws” (which will never be enforced), “propose new bills” “work with the other side”, “form committees of bureaucrats ”, “peacefully protest”, “win court cases”, “contact our elected officials”, “follow the constitution”, “follow the rule of law” ,“work in a bipartisan fashion”, “recall politicians”, “censure politicians” Yes! that will really STOP and CRUSH these commies that have usurped the USA. (Sarcasm emphasized)
I agree there are a lot of problems but just the other day I was San Francisco and I couldn’t believe how clean the streets were. They are definitely doing a lot to turn things around
Visited San Francisco a few years back with the family. It was eye opening to say the least. Shared at the Hilton union square. Safe to say we shall not be back.
So i applied for the Green card over a month ago , Got approved but i did over stated my annual income but i spend about $500/$600 month so far but pay off full before ever statement, Should i call to cancel card or give them correct the issues??😢
