Just a couple of sailors trying to stay afloat and filming along the way! With no jobs and no plan, we live every day like it’s Saturday. ⛵️
Originally from Portland, Oregon, and San Diego, California, we sold all our belongings in exchange for a life on the water. Now, we are slowly circumnavigating! With backgrounds in science and engineering, we have a knack for technology and self-repairs. Our vlogs are casual, real-time videos that feature us enjoying and constantly trying to improve upon our 2017 Lagoon 42.
French Polynesia has strict environmental laws, we cannot get any termite specific poison unless we haul the boat out of the water and hire a professional. Our current plan is to keep a close eye on everything and incorporate a professional fumigation during our next haulout in New Zealand unless we see a reason to do one sooner here in FP!
Holly and Ray. Just a wonderful, easygoing episode. Love the muddy water tracks….have never seen that before. W. O. W. ‼️ What an underwater adventure, especially with the rays. Love everything about this episode❤. See you next time. ✨🌊💨⛵️🏝️👙🌞✨
We've never seen anything like that either! It looks like the dirt just sits on the very top of the water, kind of cool! Thanks for tuning in, see you next week❤️
@@HH44_OC Getting triggered isn't helpful. There's 1000's of sailing videos already. 99.99% of them are smart enough to be entertaining/informative and edit the PMS/negativity out
Ray have you considered trying to wire one up to the other winches? I've often thought of how nice it'd be to stand on a hard top bimini with one to help get the battens past the lazy jacks.
wow, just so very nice, so good to see all is going well and life is offering such joy. Yeah indeed, let us continue taking care of our mother earth! Wishing you all the best and good times!
Looks like another “bucket list” experience like the swim with the Manta Rays! I had a similar experience with whales in Alaska. Speaking of Ray, Happy Birthday! Next up, swim with the Whale Sharks in Bali! Fair seas!
I thought the whales were pre-recorded at first, but after you talked about feeling them in your chest and ribs it blew my mind. Definitely a bucket-list item. :)
So very thankful for your videos. Nice to see you are doing fine and greetings to O'Kelly's. Wishing you all the best and you are indeed very inspirational, so thankful for you!
We are just catching up! We are headed to Tahiti in November and are loving the videos. We are chartering and will be sailing near Raiatea and Bora Bora. Two couples are joining us and we are definitely looking forward to the adventure.
@@HollyandRaygood! We can get some insight. We’ve been doing a lot of flying this summer, but are headed to sail in Croatia next month so we’re headed back into sailing for the winter.
Mentioning Med Orca interactions on a Pacific Crossing is nothing short of RU-vid revenue spin. Experts = Ex - Unknown quantity, Pert - Drip under pressure.
Ah, man… missed opportunity! I should’ve titled the video “Can’t believe we saw THIS in the middle of the ocean😳” or “Close encounter with KILLER WHALES: Will we make it to French Polynesia?!” 😂 THEN maybe we’d make some money!!
@@HollyandRay I'm going to become patron ..would like to know if you may pass Marianas Islands? (I lived on Guam 4 years ⚓30 yrs. ago & sold Marine PV equipment 🤓
@solartime8983 we’d be honored to have you over on Patreon! ❤️ We haven’t planned our exact route yet but we will be sailing toward New Zealand next year so it’s absolutely possible! We haven’t been to Guam and would love to see it😍
🌅Holly & Ray! ⛵As an PhotoVoltaic systems Installer, I appreciate your attention to detail! 🤓 Too bad Kilo-Vault went out of biz!( Spring 2024) HOW are your HLX'S Working??
