These are our videos for information relating to solar and battery questions to help you make the best choice!
How does the AC coupled battery inverter detect the flow of electricity whether it is coming from the solar panel or from the grid? what devices are used to do that? Is that yellow box GOODWE capable of charging the batteries as well
Just like any other energy solution...the price tag is a problem. Companies talk about bringing down the cost in the future but that's profit. The savings aren't passed on to the customer, the potential savings on your power bill is added to the price, then financed. As for the cost of future setups the trend is inflation. New models will be designed with as many added features they can stuff in it to fetch a higher price. The utility company regulating the amount of power you can sell allows them to regulate supply and demand in the market while keeping us dependent upon them for the lions share of our energy supply. DIABOLICAL.
Thanks for the information, what a scandal. I have had roof top solar since 2010 and got the 60c per kw tariff, have not paid an electricity bill since. This is how it should be for consumers who cover the costs of installation for solar, which is a big investment for most of us. It took 8 years to recover the initial purchase costs. Later this year 2024 the feed in tariff ends and I am looking to see how to best use my solar generated energy when that happens.
Hi sky energy, we lost our installer access password here in Nigeria, please can you assist us, we have been trying to get a PUK number to access installer to help us change configuration on battery as we recently changed battery capacity from 400AH to 1300Ah
I need enough storage to be able to run ac all day and night with no dramas. I need it for my 2 dongas 8 Rooms in total. Will the skybox able to handle all that
So the reasoning of this video is: I should get a KIA instead of a LEXUS because the KIA is more available, You can go "off-grid" even though that is illegal almost everywhere. I cant get a 6kw size battery option in a TESLA. "You can add on later"....because it is so cheap to modularly add PV batteries piece-meal. "LG Engineering History/Experience"-See Fire Recalls on LG batteries and glitches that cause them not to charge(Rush to Market-AKA LG's Battlecry) --------- BRO's Just admit you lost your access to Tesla Batteries and you are sitting on a load of LG's. This was the most desperatre endorsement of a shitty product I have ever seen. LG Chem = Trash. Tesla PW2s are readily available. Should update/delete this video, it didn't age well.
The layout of bills , is pretty shifty and meant to be that way to confuse the customer even more. I think that the layout should be in order of most expensive usage rate at the top , going down to the least expensive usage rate, ( I'm referring to a Time of use meter TOU),as follows:- Peak then shoulder, then off peak, then CT1 ( that's basically the hot water system- HWS ), then the daily supply charge. Lots of bills show peak then off peak ( maybe that's because they share the word " peak" and the providers might not even twig about a proper order/ sequence) , BUT shoulder should be between them. What is at the top of most peoples minds , is the most expensive usage rate and that's Peak. I think the government should make it law that there be a universal bill layout, because it's obvious that the providers intensions , are to confuse the customer and have a lend of us.
What U do is buy 4 solo panels 4 battery and inverter just like a caravan and a generator that way U have free power in your house cos you 1500 to 2000 no more Power bill
I have a 5kw system currently and use a meager 7.5 kwh a day in NSW, my power bills are now $240. I have decided when my new house gets built in a few months, l will be looking to put 15kw system in with a generator as well. I am sick of these mofos ripping me off.
You don’t have to keep your utility bills to know every year the power companies are keep getting richer. You think they are going to come out of pocket to pay for upgrades to their grid system 🤣🤣🤣. Look at the utilities commission duke energy is one of the worst…. Making homeowners pay for a coal ask clean up THEY CAUSED
I mean financially it probably doesn't make sense But you could get a big home storage battery and massive solar setup and just sell 5 kilowatts constantly all day everyday.
Let’s say you have a grid-tied solar array, with a direct to battery setup from the solar. You have excess power during sun hours, which fills the battery, and puts some power into the grid because no one is home. Then everyone comes home, and uses the battery power, and sometime that evening/night you draw from the grid because your battery is low (saving some storm power). But now the power from the grid has to be converted from AC to DC, and is stored in the direct solar DC battery, and back when needed - Ok, typing this out answered my question, but I’ll leave this in case someone else has the same thought. It’s still more efficient to have the battery on the solar side (for lack of a better term) than the grid side and no benefit to try and have one battery on each side, if that’s even possible.
*Awesome solar panels accessory for the electric **Generater.Systems** lightweight easy to carry and set up love it love the set up thank you very satisfied*
Had seen it in the US too. Basically, the rates were higher if you picked the solar plan (with FIT/solar buy back). Also, since your overvall kwh/month is less, it may put in a larger rate as well. Wish more salespeople had advised their customers.
