I am never going to a restaurant again…they are adding a 2.5% to checks to defray health and employee benefits, they expect at least an 18% tip, the food is more expensive, the liquor is already taxed by the state and the tip you leave is usually calculated AFTER the booze and STATE/ Federal taxes have been implemented. Took my five children out for cocktails and it cost me 183.00 for 9 drinks here in Chicago. Should have bought a 12 pak and gone to the park for 20 bucks ( 15.00 if you enjoy Miller High Life or Busch Lite ) 😂 Never tip the booze or the TAX…super dumb.

Great, informative interview. Do you have a link to the KDS he mentioned? I couldn't really hear the company name in the video, maybe it was Nese? Many Thanks!
Excellent interview. So well structured and incredibly informative. Dale Willerton is obviously an expert in his field. Thanks to both of you for doing this video and glad I’ve found the podcast!
I am a sandwich band franchisee. I have only one shop. I am in the business for 7 years but in the last few years our band lacks of coaching and helping franchisees on many areas. I don’t know much about profitability and other aspects . I just do whatever the band says I should do. The last 2 years I have been paying so much on labor costs. Thank you so much! for your podcast and I totally agree with Mr. Scott. Mr. Scott is spot on with everything about restaurant operations. Thank you 🙏
How does this video have 75 views?? Ive been watching hrs of restaurant lease videos on RU-vid but this one is by far the most informative. I will def sign up for the book
How does a tenant get 1 year free rent on a 5 year lease just by asking for 1.5 years of free rent? What landlord would pay this? By tenant paid tenant improvements? Why would a landlord agree to this especially if the prop can’t debt service.
