Investing in innovation starts with understanding it.
My name is Alex. Before becoming a full-time investor, I spent 8 years as a rocket scientist at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. I hold a BE in Electrical Engineering, an ME in Systems Engineering & Optimization, and an unfinished PhD in Image Processing & Computer Vision.
Now, I use my engineering background to research AI, semiconductors, and other advanced technologies, invest in them, and cover it all on this channel.
I love watching intel get creamed they have have been ripping off consumers for decades slapping each other on the back and laughing about it. F INTEL.
I’ve been in PLTR f or a little while now. Got 800+ shares @around $8 Selling 8 covered calls @ $40 for Jan/25 I’ve got about 30% of the premium in about a month. If I buy them back tho… I don’t think the stock will move much either way until next earnings. So I’m also cool just riding this premium down for another month.
I hope you understand that PLTR is up 200% over the last year, as well as responsible for my portfolio up over a million in proceeds doing some really good numbers, how’s that struggling ?
A common problem faced by a lot of investors is always mistaking the market for a gamble or game of luck, a sound system would always bring about profit no matter what, this is why no matter the complaints of those who have lost money trading, there’re those who also discuss profitable returns.
Hmmm... He fails to understand the meaning of "meaning" (and wisdom). So, uh, duh... What could possibly go wrong with him designing a system to run the world ~ ? Oh, right, more and "better" spam & marketing of gadgets (to ever more moronic consumers), etc...
Why am I getting the feeling that this whole presentation is a scripted animation? The audience is the most spooky of all. Every speaker standing without lifting a foot, standing in the perfect centre of the circle. Are there any real people left of earth?
the model for AI overview is still too dumb in my opinion, it often get exacty the wrong answer, even contradicts the sources that it cites. I don't trust it. I'll wait for the next iterations thankyou.
I have to be honest, the ChatGPT 4o videos were much better than this insofar as showing what it can do. This was nerdy, used AI jargon, and the speakers were flat in their presentations. If it was intended for tech folks, okay. I’ll just be a user.
He comes out dressed head-to-toe in black. His product is a soulless black square. I see that black chip and I immediately think of that creepy black monolith in "2001 A Space Odyssey" or when I went to the Vietnam War Memorial. DEPRESSING. I can't be the only one. Maybe he should look at how Apple presents their new products.
Cathie Wood or Cathie Weird more like it! AI is set to grow by about 35% CAGR coming 10 years - so any fundamentally good AI company, big or small will/should easily hit +15% GROWTH, since that is <50% OF THE 35% industry expectations!!
What does it change? Google often announces features that either take a long time to deliver or, in some cases, never come to fruition. The initial Google Home advertisement showcased a range of remarkable features, many of which remain unavailable even after eight years. I used to be an ardent Google enthusiast, but my enthusiasm waned after the discontinuation of Google+. That incident served as an eye-opener, making me more cautious about Google's actions and promises. Although Gemini integrates well with the Google ecosystem (and that is certainly an advantage), OpenAI currently holds a substantial lead, and Google is unlikely to catch up anytime soon. 🤷🏽♂️
Was all in and watching till i heard and seen "better help" 😢 joke ...ring of fake therapist ...just get a friend to talk to or your probably better of talking to ppl on tiktok because those are probably the same ppl they hire as therapists
I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance
I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation from $275k to $850k.

You can never say never to opportunity like S&P 500 ETFs, VOO which is up. I’m being instructed by an intelligent investor to buy more anytime it drops, cashing up along the way on every moves, also incorporating new stocks.
Stocks is not only about anticipating moves based off trends but anticipating through participating behind real top performers and attain how they execute perfectly.
These applications are very exciting but I can't help but wonder what's in it for Google. I guess in the end it's incredibly customised user profiles by analysing tons of personal data, allowing even more targeted advertisment OR selling AI Overview recommendations to the highest bidder (like they do with search tags right now) so a restaurant can bid to show up in your holiday plan. I'd be happy to be wrong about this. Let me know if I'm missing something or if you disagree with me.
