We believe every child and young person, especially the forgotten, neglected, or abused, deserves to be celebrated; seen, heard, and known!
I wanted to do foster care, but at the time, my current bf was mentally unstable, and no way would I bring a child into the home. Who needs the most help, teenagers or younger children?

Also check your state… here in NC, like you, you need to find an agency that does BOTH as it is 2 separate licenses, which can easily be done if they are authorized… and NC requires 6 months of fostering to adopt, meaning adoption from foster care needs both licenses.
