I'm so entirely proud of those that came to the Oscars and shared the love and power of our native people! We are a strong, resilient, and beautiful people! Nizhoni shi ke!
Their applause is false. It's not because we're self-conscious, but white people or gringos look at us Indians, blacks, Hispanics and "mestizos" with disgust. Algún día las elites gringas recibirán un castigo divino por sus pecados del pasado y del presente. Greetings from Panama, Latin America that is not Latin is Hispanic. 😊 The saddest thing is that this film deserved the award, but what can be expected from the elites and the big screen.
It's an absolute shame that this film did not win any awards that night. I was hoping this song would win, and that Lily would win. Congrats to the other winners, but this movie is the real winner in my book.
No awards to acknowledge the truth! They can't and will not do it. They look the other way, America. Oscars are part of America! A blond barbie doll is better to them. Get the picture.
You'd think a Indigenous peoole song performance would be covered more by the media. But nope. I had no idea this happened; saw more about I'm Just Ken. No hate to Ryan Gosling but he's been invited to more Oscars than them.
Asian hereeee and seeing this performance… wow…. my eyes are teary….🥹 what an amazing performance, what a group of people, what a nation🤍 They are always there and they need more respect🤍 I will never forget this year’s Oscar.
I regularly look at this alongside Marlon Brando's refusal to accept an Oscar, due to Hollywood's treatment of Native Americans. A bit of progress has been made over the past 50 years.
Lily Gladstone reminded us all what REALLY mattered after the Oscars upset - that the Osage's stories are finally being listened to by non-Indigenous people.
Seeing this on tv and then again just now made me cry happy tears! Finally getting a voice on a bigger, wider (widder?) stage. In front of the bigger people we see more often than not. Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! 😍❤
Beautiful video❤❤❤❤,My mom was an indegines from Bluefields Nicaragua, And she was missed treated back home,She was from the ramaqui tribe's, Similar to the Nabajo Indians
As someone who has Cherokee and Lumbee ancestry in my family, this was empowering to watch! "Killers of the Flower Moon" was an incredible movie. It's heartbreaking but necessary and hearing music like this really knows how to emotionally invoke you.
This is part of the real NORTH AMERICA (Canada 🇨🇦 , USA 🇺🇸 and México 🇲🇽) A M E R I C A is the entire continental, from Canada 🇨🇦 in the north until Chile 🇨🇱 and Argentina 🇦🇷 in the south. Please, read and learn more 📖
I'm from south america, watching this at work without permission, and my eyes watered. This is beautiful, and I didn't even hear about this anywhere until today
I am from Athens Greece when I was a little one and we watched western movies I was always with the native Indianos ,without knowing anything about ,I was always in the good side …love the movie love this song ,it’s epic, in my opinion was the best movie of the year ♥️🇬🇷
The creator is the only one that we need to acknowledge us! You can keep your Oscar award and your Barbie movie, it means nothing to us! This was a powerful movie and there's no comparison to any other movie out there or the importance of the The truth that needed to be told!
