Please do grenade & shrapnel tests on various body armour materials OTHER than plates. 80% of injuries here in Ukraine are from artillery. How many of those could be prevented by a bunch of burlap layers? HDPE? face shield? If so, how much at what distance?& please don't just measure debris impact. Pressure waves, & how to block\absorb them, are important for TBI here.

I remember hearing about this stuff after using a solution of hydrogen peroxide and hydrochloric acid to etch printed circuit boards. I read that TATP can be unintentionally synthesized in the process, particularly if acetone is used for cleaning the circuit boards of the toner mask. Luckily, I kept my solutions separated, but I always wondered if it was really that easy to accidentally blow oneself up doing something so seemingly innocuous.
Bro make a hexagonal claymore with chaff, or use a beehive and fill it with custom made 22lr chaff / birdshot and see if it can take down drones or what it does . 🤔
Also.... graboids arent exactly tough monsters.... they are basically big bags of goo..... surrounded by earth.... it wouldnt take much to uh...liquify a graboid from the inside out. Like holding an m80 in an open hand barely stings but a closed fist turns to hamburger
I designed a SC that was .875" Diameter copper with a 45 Deg apex. The thickness of the liner was only .012". The stand off was about 3in. It penetrated 3.375in. The hole Diameter was about about .055"! The hole Dia. was pretty much the same from top to bottom. I believe the reason why yours have such poor results is prob because of poor symmetry. The smaller they are the tighter the tolerances. The explosive needs to be uniform in density and the length of the charge is critical. You can use a wave shaper to make it shorter but it must be done properly. If you guys want some assistance dont hesitate to contact me. 3d printing is good for making something. But 3d printing is weak expensive and stupid slow for more than a few items. Being made on a 3d printer doesn’t make it better.
