I'm only 1/4 German, and 3/4 American. My Oma is German and I could understand the language as a young child since I spent lots of time at her house, but I forgot most of it, basically. I took a couple of German classes in college but they didn't really stick. Also my mom has been studying it for the past few years and is getting pretty decently fluent. My dad was born in Germany and he qualifies for citizenship, and so do I, as well as my brothers and my mom, apparently. He's working on the process, albeit slowly. We might try living in Germany if he's ever successful in getting us all citizenship. So, lately I'm trying to do more things related to learning German. I like learning about languages in general, but I haven't really made a big effort yet. This was machine translated, hence why I couldn't get it to sound quite right, since I barely know what I'm doing. But I definitely appreciate any feedback. I like the language, and the people and culture, and so this came about because of my current general interest in German and Germany.

Very cool! I used to hear piercing calls I assumed to be bats when I was younger, now less and less often. Playing around with the Spectroid app early on it took a while to realize I was seeing crickets on the waterfall! "What are these pulses around 5kHz?"
I hadn't heard the calls before recording them, but the night after I realized I recorded bats, I could hear the really shrill, piercing, high pitched calls, very quietly. I hadn't noticed them before.
You'll have to try only the first half of the config, and see if it still does that, otherwise you'll have to try the second half, and you keep splitting the results in half until you've narrowed down the one specific command that's causing it

Yeah, I have the rest of this guy's prank calls sitting on a hard drive which I currently am not able to access the data on, so if I ever manage to get into it I will post lots more. I don't have the Frank Garrett calls, but there's lots of stuff from the 2000s internet.
@@ohsoedgy6888 nope, I didn't save that, and this creator made all those calls himself, so there's no way he or I would have access to some prank call like that.
I have not attempted to do that. I don't know if you can do that directly; it might be something you can only do indirectly by giving yourself a huge unfair advantage, such as by using WeMod to make yourself invincible.
How can I use this configuration? I wanna try to play Half Life 2 on my old laptop from 2004 with Windows XP. The graphics card sucks :D Also um... do you know where can I download the original 2004 version?
I have another video with more modern settings. As for how to get the original version I would assume you'd have to pirate it. I don't know where you would get it though. If you get that version you can use the configuration file from this video though in it.
@@gulas_s_houskovym_knedlikem I put all the values into this description, which you need to put in the .cfg file associated with the copy of Half Life two you are launching. Look up how .cfg files work in VALVe games if you're not sure what to do, still.
@@gulas_s_houskovym_knedlikem like half-life and Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike and all other source and gold source engine games have been using since 1999, for over 25 years, it's been autoexec.cfg. If you had researched as I suggested, you probably would have found that out instantly. Which is why I recommended it in the first place.
@@rnin0723 actually, I thought you might have been asking about him. And in fact I was thinking that maybe you were even wondering where his old videos were. I shouldn't have second-guessed myself. His old videos are still on his channel but unlisted. You should be able to find a playlist, hopefully, that has all the old videos on it. Some people have re-uploaded his old videos as well. The way I found the video I was looking for was just by searching on Google for low spec gamer and the name of the game.
