Thank you, I'd upload more but I work full time now, and I'm out of ideas for videos except updates of old ones or playthroughs/commentaries of my mods.
When he first picked up the Plasma Rifle, my brain actually thought it was the original sound and I was disappointed, but THEN he fired a few more shots and I was like “Ohhhh, he had me in the first half.” So good.
The game didn't really have the highest sound budget anyway - most of the sounds were from cheap royalty-free libraries. That makes me think of the game Rise of the Triad, actually - that game actually had some sounds that were made worth someone's voice, probably again because of very low budget.
Glad you all had fun! I'm always interested in new video ideas, so if you and your followers want to see something else like this, I'll see what I can do. Usually old games are easier, they have fewer sounds that are simpler to replace.
Hyperbole runs rampant on RU-vid, but I’m not exaggerating whatsoever when I say that this is easily one of the greatest recommendations RU-vid has EVER gifted me. 😄
Yeah maybe I could do that game; whether or not it's feasible all depends on how a game stores its data. If it's not straightforward to replace sounds then I'd just pick a different game.
@@R2Bl3nd Yeah But i mod House of the dead 2 on pc Using an wav converter and replace the sound names And i tested it Cuz its funny XD I play the sound of an Injured dog screaming of the zombies death sounds And the Bullet hit Sound ricochet i replaced is the sound of an frying pan sound from Left 4 dead 2 Btw i like your mouth noise doom mod tho :D
@@greenbroccolistudios1275 that sounds fun. I'm totally up for making a new mod for a newer game. I just need to know a game that's popular, moddable, and a good candidate for sound replacement. I was going to do Skyrim when it came out but I gave up after only doing like 500 of the 6000 sounds. I could always start over, I guess...
@@R2Bl3nd Skyrim is the best game award on switch :) But Sadly you cant change sounds in consoles only pc can i do That Btw mod skyrim and house of the dead 2 using mouth sounds
@@greenbroccolistudios1275 yeah I'm well aware that mods for Skyrim only work on the PC. Like I said I was already working on it within a few months of Skyrim coming out in 2011, but I gave up because it was just too much work. I could do something like that again but I have way less free time now than I did back then so it'd be really hard unless I could make money from, like, Patreon instead of my full time job.
