Thanks!!! im still a beginner. Using this rates in simulator help me fly smoother and with more control. Will be practicing m mode on real life onwards. 😁
Very good tutorial thanks. I was wondering about the effect of the sharpness setting in the camera. It seems that you left it at -2 for the shot, shouldn't it be better to set it to the max value ? Or does it adds some kind of unwanted effect of putted to high ? I just started filming in cinedlike and I putted the sharpness to 2 and i don"t really like the result
Hey, thanks! The sharpness is a digital filter baked into the file, making the images appear somewhat artificial. Adjusting color and contrast in post helps to enhance the crispness of the image without sharpness.
Thanks for the tutorial. I think I am missing something here. You made a compound clip which included speed ramps in between and added motion blur on it. How did it know to use the blur only during the speed ramps?
The Action 4 camera's gyro data is wrong for horizon lock, isnt it? I calibrated the horizon in camera, but it doesnt work in gyroflow. Stabilization works, but horizon lock is totally off. Any fixes yet?
nice flight man 🔥🔥 i hava cinematic fpv flight too, not as great as you but if you want to visit i'm very happy 😅 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z62Zg5O5TXI.htmlsi=UEB5K4Sqo1moozkX
Hey, great video! quick stupid question: why do I have to check the input color in the color page for each clip since I set the project settings in the first place?
thank you for answering@@stefanorinaldo. In my case things were simpler: I was applying input/output color and gamma on an existing timeline, previously set. 1 davinci prefs, 2 project settings, 3 implicitly the timeline you're creating will get the project settings.
This was the best Potensic Atom review I've seen. and I've seen all of them. *Especially* all your tips for the quality settings and davinci resolve footage/advice. You're actually the best.
Good evening Sten, beautiful video, beautiful footage, wonderful post-production. Now a question that I hope will be answered. I am very undecided about buying my first drone for daytime shooting in open spaces with mtb. DJI mini 4 that costs a madness or can you settle for the Potensic? I'm not interested in sensors but a good image for reels on the social. Do you have any advice?
Sten: "If you want to film professionally, the ATOM is definitely not for you. Also Stan: showing perfect beautiful shots of the Dolomites with that "beginner drone" :)
Is it worthy to stabilize modern action cam footage shot in GOOD lighting conditions with GyroFlow? Or let's say Action 4's inbuilt stabilization will provide almost the same level? I know that for low-light shots Gyroflow is definitely the way to go.
GyroFlow is excellent in low light and good light, but if you're looking to capture quick shots without the need for post-stabilization, the internal stabilization of the Action is sufficient. These 'gyro apps' can sometimes introduce digital artifacts, especially when the shutter speed is too low. In low-light conditions, the built-in stabilization might be preferable. Alternatively, ensure you shoot with a shutter speed four times the frame rate (e.g., 25fps > 25*4 = 1/100) and increase the ISO.
Thank you. It's another step in the workflow, but if quality is the key factor, good to know that in-post stabilization should be a better option.@@stefanorinaldo
Enjoyed the video, subscribed some time ago already. Never heard about Potensic drones, so thanks for the introduction. A healthy competition is good for everyone :)
The radio/video transmission is good! I don't have an exact idea of the range, but it easily covers 1/2 km without any issues. The camera allows recording in 4K or 2.7K at 24/25/30p, or FullHD up to 60p. There aren't many options, except the ability to use the camera manually and set grids for better composition.
