The Jazz aren't moving Lauri. The Jazz are willing to move Sexton, Clarkson and Collins. Honestly Clarkson is a better fit for what OKC needs. A former 6th man of the year that creates his own shot and the Jazz have been trying to move for awhile.
Lol OKC aint going for Sexton. You cant play Sexton and Shai on the floor at the same time which means if he was to come off the bench he gets 15 mins and as soon as Shais back on you pull him off. Biggest thing okc was missing was a bigger stronger better rebounder at the 4 who can hit 3s. The Patrick Williams talk makes more sense.
Bryson...... You're going on an internet report based on speculation? Really? And you got one of the smartest GMS have not the smartest GMS in the NBA IF this is the guy he wants then be quiet. I am not a big fan of Dieng. And for the record you mentioned 1-5 is not a project everybody I don't care how good they are a project. I mean there were doubts about Chet and there were doubts about Wemby as well. With respect to you this sounds more like a fanboy rant than it does actual fact.
He's on a 3yr deal that pays him like 18 million per. Utah better not trade him for cheap, but I hope they can trade him before he blasts through his Hammy's. Dudes fun to watch, but an injury waiting to happen with his relentless chaos
@@lasgidikingin Yes, and, if ya slip up and call 'em, dog-bro, instead of bro-dog, that's cool too, especially this season when all the Thunder bros morphed into dogs. ⚡ 🐶 woof woof
I am not saying he is a bad player, I just think its pointless to draft him when we have Ous just sitting the bench. If we have given up on him hen we need to package him in a trade
I dont get your Ous / Holmes comp. They're clearly not the same. Ous is a playmaking wing that lacks physicality and aggression while Holmes is a defensive wing/big. The only edge ous has is his passing. Holmes is a better shot blocker and rebounder and more physical
Listen my prediction: we Trade down to 26 on fragt night and get DaRon Holmes ||. The wizards have 2 lottery Picks now. We get deni avdija in this Trade and give up giddey 2025 frp, the 12th pick 2024 and a second rounder
Patrick Williams would be pretty good at the 4. He doesn’t require the ball, he’s really good defensively as well, good at those catch and shoot corner opportunities. Deni on the other hand would require the ball, he’s like a point forward more than anything.
I disagree just a little bit. If you look at our guys right now they all need the ball. We either shoot off the dribble or constantly drive in. I think P Will is great off the bench for the Thunder but Deni fits in our system better as a starter
How do we know that he's promised at pick#12? I'm sure that there are draft trades that have already been agreed upon. There are plenty of picks for sale this year, especially in the 20's.
How the heck is this ousmane dieng? Ous is a sg/sf, holmes is closer to a serge ibaka stretch big that defends. What? I dont get the comp apart from the height and length
Ous is listed as a forward, so is Holmes. Both shoot the ball efficiently and get 8 plus boards a game (going off g league stats for Ous and of course Holmes last college season). Ous also averages a block per game. Sure Dieng has a better handle which MAKES him seem like a sg. However he is a forward that would primarily play a stretch 4 spot, just like Holmes would. I just see there game is very similar
@@ThunderDigestYT i dont think ous is even close to the physicality a power forward needs. And he cant play small ball center. Holmes does both. And as good as ous played in the g league he was feasted on by a draft prospect matas buzelis simply because he was more physical.
@@ThunderDigestYTHolmes plays more like myles turner and Dieng is a guard that grew to 6'10 but he cannot handle the physicality like Holmes who is 240 that has a 7'2 wingspan and has that athleticism also he's not a project pick like Ous who needs more years with Daron he's a sure fire rotational piece or can even crack the starting spot if he proves himself since Holmes is more of a JDub & Wallace type of pick that is matured for his age plus always plays the right way. Dieng is going to have a great potential or ceiling depending on how he proves himself but that's to the expense of who will he replace in the starting line up too?
@@ThunderDigestYTHolmes is a win now type of pick like Dalton them I'm just going to say the cap space is all going to joe and wiggins. Presti must resign those guys What makes sense is if they sign hartenstein in free agency
whats wrong with two ous? a quick look at the holmes highlight and i think he is way more comfortable in the paint ,scores with his back to the basket. ous lacks aggressiveness more of a wing, imo
Wouldn’t be a problem if we were a rebuilding team. We need to win now. No reason to take a guy that would be a project for two years imo. Rather trade the pick for a guy that has an instant impact.
I love Presti, he is the reason I go to the college I study at. Wanted to be like him before I found my passion for sports radio and content creation. figured I can be just like him if I go to the same school as him. However post rebuild/contention is where he falls short. Never quite knows what that one missing piece is.
I just think it’s a waste for us to draft someone that will be a project for 2-3 years. We are in win now mode so we need guys that will have an instant impact.
I think his play and size is a perfect fit, but Ous does the same thing. This is like asking mom for food when she says we have food at the house. We just need to give ous a chance
That takes care of our back up pg. they would all benefit from playing with giddy. Just because someone starts, doesn’t mean they have to play starter mins. We were number 1 in the west. We are getting better as is. For sure. This guy has defensive instincts, can hit the 3 and pass well enough. Still have money to sign someone. That or Paul George and still that’s a great pick because we didn’t have a shot blocker besides Chet. I’d get him. Actually allows us to be able to keep giddy. If ous is better and earns it, great but so far he hasn’t cracked the rotation. I really don’t think it’s because they just don’t like him. He has potential but that guy has a little more beast in him. That guy plays like a big man and shoots. Ous is a big man who plays like a guard. Two different players.
@@ThunderDigestYT I'm hopeful for Ous too, but we have been stacking up on guards for the longest time. It's time to stack up on cheap bigs, which it's been killing me that we haven't yet, but it does take guards longer to develop.
Nah bro I do agree with you although he would be a good fit to improve our starting line up I would love adjiva from the wizards 6,9 can shoot it has a handle and good size for a PF
Yeah I think he’s a great addition to the team, just if we want a starter go after Lauri and Deni as well. We can sign Williams if we offer around 16 million since the Bulls prob won’t go higher than 14 million.
Boricua Hispanic India n black iam. Okc Olmos beat the dallas but was short, because of josh play weak , if Josh was playing good n make 13 point or 18 the okc make it to the final . They play dallas with a change to be in the final , if okc have a better player that Josh, next year will pass the dallas n other team n be in the final. 😅 n other player have to go to is Gordon, chet Jalen shai n dort arron Joe n other players are doing great, they need to trade the weak players n trade to a better shooter of 3 point shot. Okc need snaper players , to score . 😅
The only way the Pels do this trade is if we were to trade Josh, Ous, Cason plus pick 12, LAC 2025, LAC 2027, and probably Utah 2025 or more if we did not want to include Cason
This draft is going to be really interesting for OKC. I have a strong feeling that Presti will try to improve the roster on PF/C spot via trade or FA where they can get somehow proven guys like Hartenstein or Patrick Williams. In this case Thunder will draft the best player available (actually that's what they usually do). While Da Silva looks really good as a player, great on and off court fit, his age might suggest that the ceiling is not as high as for other players. So in that scenariio where we fill in a need for a big guy or two, I believe we will pick players like McCain, Carter or Cody if he falls. In case we don't have possibility to add any big players, we might go for Da Silva or Holmes (supposedly we made him a promise but I don't know how true it is).
