Who wants to see a bride walk down the aisle in a shear dress showing her bikini underwear? I don’t understand this trend at all. Put a flesh colored lining in them for goodness sake. Some are completely over the top costumes others are gorgeous.
When will they ever let models smile? They look dead. Someone needs to CHANGE THE PROTOCOL and let the model be NORMAL!!! STOP THE INSANE ULGY DEAD PAN LOOK. UGH. BEAUTIFUL CLOTHES SHOULD HAVE A SMILE FROM THE ONE WEARING THE OUTFIT!!!
The sad part of this bridal show is the models. Brides look radiant & happy on their special day but these robot looking models did absolutely no justice for this collection. From crossing their feet/legs & stomping down the runway to tugging the dress to prevent tripping it was a very disappointing showing.
All the dresses except the last dress looked made for ballerinas, and they should have lined the dresses then they would have been more like wedding dresses. The models except the last model needed to be different. The only dress I would want to get married in would have been the last dress. The collection was not a success, in my opinion. They could be though if lined and some of custume ones need more fabric and lining. Some of those looked cheap. Sorry, I'm just saying more effort needed to go into the models and the ballerina head pieces need to go.
Why do the models look happy as I would think the customers could see Themselves happier. What Happened to real wedding gowns. Only people with large wallets can buy these some what to be wedding gowns.
Hi Karen, thanks for your comment. It is true that these wedding gowns are only for people with large wallets. But nowadays, the only fashion brands that can finance expensive fashion shows like these are luxury fashion brands like Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Elie Saab etc. Therefore, let's just enjoy fashion shows and fashion weeks, even if we can't afford to buy the collections.
Some georgeous fabrics, some beautiful designs mixed with some butt ugly crap and a bunch of girls who looked like they were marching off to their execution.
These models are so ugly. I just saw a beautiful wedding display in Moscow. Their models are absolutely gorgeous every hair in place there is nothing wrong with your dresses some of them, but I don’t think anyone should wear a half scene wedding dress or a see-Through wedding dress, so Jimmychoo go back to the drawing board and find some new models and not so skinny check out the women in Moscow that’s what a woman supposed to look like
Most of the gowns were beautiful. Most of the models were just sad. They just did not look human or healthy. A couple of them did but that’s just sad such beauty with zombies wearing it definitely took away from the beauty of the gowns.
Hi Melissa, thank you very much for your comment. French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier would be thrilled! The corset has always been one of his trademarks.
Hi Mary, thanks for your comment. Tastes are different, and that's okay. Not every woman wants to look like Grace Kelly or Lady Diana on her wedding day.
Some beautiful dresses as well as veils but some of the dresses won't finished properly, one even had a tear in the back. It shouldn't have been shown. The make up on the models didn't look right either.
I know these poor things are starving but it's time to do away with the deathmask model face, especially when modeling wedding dresses ( even ugly ones).
Marriage is moving gracefully, JOYFULLY, and thankfully into a lifelong commitment...not stomping angrily and ugly to the gallows...beautiful dresses...awful models and horrible presentation😣
Parade of clomping, graceless, angry models that have NO CLUE what they are presenting...half are tripping on the gowns because they have no idea of what marriage means and are shlumping at break neck speed. Even the music is ominous and full of dread.
Hi, thank you for your comment. We understand that viewers would prefer the models to smile, but in Paris, London, Milan and Barcelona, models are instructed not to smile on the runway.
@@vertigomagazine2568 I’m pretty sure they don’t smile in the United States either. It just seems especially incongruent when the clothes are specifically for weddings. It would be interesting if the models were instructed to have a medium, somewhat pleasant look on their face (not grinning from ear to ear) if it would effect the general public’s perception of the clothes being modeled. Thank you for your response.
@@FreeSpiritinLove We fully agree with you. As a model, you can express feelings even without smiling. It is probably easier for professional models who hit the runway at the Haute Couture Week in Paris. They have been trained and they know how to avoid mistakes, whereas the models booked for this Bridal Fashion Week are mostly amateur or beginner models.
Hi Kathy, thanks for your comment. Elaborate gowns are a must on an international runway. It's showtime. Moreover, these voluminous wedding gowns are very fashionable in the UAE, the Lebanon, Eastern Europe and some parts of Asia.
can't think of many dads who want to see their daughter in a sheer wedding gown. My husband would have a proverbial fit & it wouldn't be pretty. No pun intended!
Beautiful fabrics . I’m not fond of the sheer skirts. Very interesting designs. How do you sit in some of these? Too many lace up backs. Too away from dresses
Hi, thank you for your comment. Sitting in one of these dresses is usually not a problem, because after the wedding ceremony, the bride usually gets changed and wears a lighter wedding gown for the dinner party.
What has happened to modesty and elegance in bridal gowns? See through material and barely covered legs, torsos and breasts only make a woman look cheap and crass. A true bridal gown is modest in cut and detailing.
