Well, solution for that is a lace shawl matching the dress let all the elders have fun eat toast and go home lol!!! Adults are ready to parteeee! Gowns on the runway are often to showcase the details, styles and trends. Many shear gown can be lined and still be beautiful. 41 years ago when I was married, my father would have swallowed his teeth if I looked at such a gown. But times change, and women now see their bodies as beautiful rather than sinful.

They are trained not to smile unless instructed. It makes me think of passport photos.

The purpose of fashion shows is selling dresses. Models are nothing more than tall, skinny hangers. They aren’t supposed to distract from the merchandise.

At least these models don’t look like it’s a shotgun wedding

Because women have not worn big poofy dresses for over a century. One has to learn how to walk in them.

Much agreed! I am a bride at age 59 who has had MS 40 years. I am spending $1000 to alter my dress so it will meet these needs as I ride down the aisle on my scooter. Gowns for the disabled should be a whole line by some designer!

Therefore, an haute couture wedding dress can be as expensive as a luxury car. You are right, fashion designers should present more plus size models and dresses. Já vi outros desfiles e realmente modelos não sorriem e há uma neutralidade de emoção, mas nesse desfile específico houve uma sensação negativa, parece que estavam lá contrariadas, sabe noiva obrigada a casar? Essa foi a sensação que passaram. Acho que estavam desconfortáveis na coleção ou não foram bem tratadas no backstage e/ou camareiros

Hi, thank you very much for your comment. You are right. Walking in those heavy or very long wedding gowns is not easy. Due to the fact that 37 bridal fashion shows took place in only four days and that the models were booked for numerous shows, they didn't really have the time to rehearse.

Pero en otras partes del mundo como por ejemplo los países árabes van muy de moda los vestidos de novia muy elaborados y voluminosos. En las próximas semanas seguirán también videos con vestidos de novia más modernos y sencillos.

Those "over the top" gowns make the gown the bride...not the human..a dress is what is says...its a dress..not the bride if it wears her.

They are instructed by the designer how he wants them to walk, and their facial expressions. The models are literally the most expensive coat hangers ever.

Please note that the designer was inspired by a kokoshnik, but he created a much more royal headpiece. Fashion designers take inspiration from cultures all around the world and create magnificent dresses. They pay tribute to many countries. The Russian fashion designers we see in Paris, for instance Yanina and Valentin Yudashkin, mostly present collections that are inspired by France, Italy, Spain and Great Britain. And nobody complains that they include the Spanish mantilla, the French crinoline or Victorian fashion elements from the United Kingdom in their collection.
