I only use your discount code when purchasing all my tangems and always send your code to other people because of your great content and the fact that you always reply to us 🥰 If I wanna swap Kaspa to Tether do I need to be having some Tether balance in the Tangem app?
What coins? Not all coins can be bought and sold directly in the Tangem app. If that’s the case, use a crypto exchange (Kraken, Binance, etc) to buy crypto and transfer it to your Tangem wallet.
Since selling Kaspa in the Tangem app isn’t supported yet, you’ll need to transfer it back to your crypto exchange of choice and sell it there OR you can swap it for a different coin directly in Tangem, and sell that coin. Swap if for USDT for example which you can sell using Tangem
Exchanges limit transfer amounts- for example Robinhood crypto transfer limit is 5k per day - this makes crypto trading difficult - difficult to convert to cash then back to crypto quickly - any ideas for better trading?
Use a decentralized exchange. There are no limits. Also, centralized exchanges like Kraken have way better limits (hundreds of thousands to millions of dollar) Robinhood isn’t a crypto exchange.
No. You need SOL to transact on the network this includes any transaction (buying, selling, transferring tokens) Also, I’d be weary of trying to sell random memecoins sent to you. It could be a scam. If you can’t sell it for some reason, assume it’s a scam (especially if it asks you to vistit a website for a solution)
Go to Manage Tokens tab, tap the + icon, select the network the token is on, paste the tokens contract address, and everything else should populate automatically. Then tap add token and you’re good to go
The only wallet I know of that’s made in the US is Arculus. I’m not a huge fan of them. I’d much rather use Tangem or even Onekey myself. Ton of token support including SOL
Who can help transfer 200 USDT from OKX wallet to Binance? There is only a seed phrase, nothing more: head isolate sound end kit industry choice festival limit stable dolphin derive
I would like to see in slow motion step by step on how to sell crypto from the Tangem wallet for people like me who are not tech savvy- Literally a close up view on each individual step from beginning to the end
@@cyberscrilla okay thanks I’m just skeptical since you did mention about people sending people compromised wallets the handler is kinda unknown and there’s little to no info about the package
"Hello, I am really impressed by Tangem's innovative approach to cryptocurrency storage and its secure design. The advantages it offers through decentralized structure and blockchain technology are particularly noteworthy. Unfortunately, I currently don't have the funds to purchase one, but I would love the opportunity to try this card and share my experiences. Thank you in advance for your consideration!"
Im actually looking at buying a trezor safe 5 and going to be using the multishare backup. I love open source and the transparency with the code. Im actually hoping that trezor makes an air gapped wallet in the future as their top of the line hardware wallet basically without the Bluetooth and other data leaking issues. Basically, it is an answer for the ledger stax but more secure and completely airgapped like the keystone or the ngrave zero would love that option. Im going to be buying bitcoin in small bits while adding up my portfolio overtime. Anyway, I love the videos you put out. i personally am going for trezor even though i know you really like tangem. It's just that trezor ticks all the boxes for me.
Nice! I love Tangem because it’s the most user friendly wallet on the market. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like or use other wallets. Trezor is a solid product and I use my safe 3 often. FYI Trezor wallets don’t have Bluetooth. They only connect via USBC. Also air gap is not really more secure. Malicious activity can still pass through QR codes just like they can USB connector or Bluetooth. Anyways! Thanks for watching - Alex
I have question, since the majority of these chips that are in these hardware wallets and cards are made in china could there be a hidden code or software on these wallets or would open source wallets show hidden technology coding within these wallets from China or other countries?
Safe 3 looks great but typing your pin that way every time you need to use it seems annoying, also if you use a hidden wallet do you have to type the passphrase every time? Bc in that case it might just be worth it to buy the touch screen safe 5 😅
Yes, it can be annoying. That’s the nice thing about touch screens. And yes, you have to enter your passphrase each time if you choose to set it up (not the seed phrase though).
Hi Melanie, great video! For backup, can you please tell me what specific files to download on GitHub for the Tangem wallet? There are multiple files shown, is there (1) executable file for Android devices?
this seems lke a paid advertisement. Trezor T also has multiple password seeds. There's no extra security by using Safe 5. You want to sell the need for that new model
Incorrect. I’ve never been paid to make a video. Both the Model T and Model One lack the secure element chip, which is crucial for security. If you don’t want to pay extra for the Gorilla Glass screen and Haptic Touch, go with the Safe 3 (as mentioned in this video). Whether it’s the Safe 3 or the Safe 5, it’s worth the upgrade for the secure element. Hopefully, this helped clear up the differences for you.
