It had been almost 5 years since Trezor released a new wallet when they introduced the Safe 3. Naturally, we all assumed the Safe 5 would follow. Tip: If a wallet manufacturer updates one model, expect them to update all their models. To your point, the hardware wallet industry is simply another branch of the consumer electronics industry like the iPhone/Android phones.

No opinion as I haven’t tried it or even looked much into it. But I’ll try to get it and let you know. I know coldcard is a solid choice assuming you only want to store BTC.
whatever you guys do please do not accept the latest trezor model T update ,it allows automatic software updates this could be a hack vector for hackers , also please talk to trezor and try get them to change this up grade
@@Idc.350 the only reason open source is good and works is because you can go online and review the code in a new update before you accept It , automatic updates means if they want to they could upgrade your Trezor without your permission so they could have access to your Trezor without your permission or something else nefarious open source is only useful if it can be audited before it's implemented
Until further info is released about the SD slot, I won’t mention it. I’m assuming it’s similar functionality to the Model T. But I haven’t seen any official statement from Trezor.

this seems lke a paid advertisement. Trezor T also has multiple password seeds. There's no extra security by using Safe 5. You want to sell the need for that new model
Incorrect. I’ve never been paid to make a video. Both the Model T and Model One lack the secure element chip, which is crucial for security. If you don’t want to pay extra for the Gorilla Glass screen and Haptic Touch, go with the Safe 3 (as mentioned in this video). Whether it’s the Safe 3 or the Safe 5, it’s worth the upgrade for the secure element. Hopefully, this helped clear up the differences for you.

Ledger X and Trezor don't connect to Apple phones but do on Android phones mainly due to Apple's restrictive policies on external device connections and the lack of native support for USB-C/OTG connections on many iPhones. Android phones, on the other hand, generally support a wider range of connectivity options, making it easier to connect hardware wallets.

By default, the withdrawal fee will be deducted from the indicated withdrawal amount (option 2). However, it’s possible to modify this setting by clicking on Set Up and selecting the preferred deduction method. If you choose the “Withdrawal Amount Entered = Amount Received” deduction method, you will need to adjust the withdrawal amount by deducting the fee amount as clicking on the All button will show the error message “The requested withdrawal amount exceeds your available balance.”
Trezor Suite does not support ordinals. However, you can receive them at any address within your Bitcoin wallet. Ideally, use a Taproot account. You will not be able to see any ordinals in your Trezor wallet, however.
This is a more premium wallet with the gorilla glass, touchscreen, and Haptic Touch. As a bitcoin only wallet, I’d go Trezor Safe 3 or Safe 5 over Jade.

I always go for simplicity. While Jade has plenty of security features, Trezor is more than secure without being overloaded with features. That’s just my opinion
Question: how is it possible for a trezor/ledger/metamask to recognize your recovery phrase? Since “no-one knows your phrase not even the company” Is your recovery phrase is stored somewhere in a database? Or how else could it be recognize as a legit wallet, when recoverd.
