I think you gave me an idea on how to mount (tiger shark) teeth to lower grill on my '19 WRX...ver 6 needs a recess in the back to center on the horizontal grill piece to keep the plate from rotating...almost like a a c-channel |[C
I was ordering a wheel/tire package from Tire Rack and it only popped up 205 tires. The oem wheels are also 7.5" wide and came with 225/40 tires. I do like the slightly stretched look, so I went with the 205s. The Impreza is a relatively light car, so I don't think there's a significant advantage to the 225, and the 205 might be better in the wet. The steering feels lighter and I'm getting better gas mileage already. So, yeah, I was planning on a 225, but took a chance with 205 when Tire Rack paired it with this wheel.
Thanks. I'm still figuring out how to make good use of the 360 camera. This shoot showed me it's not very good in low light, even with manual adjustments. I'll keep at it, though.
Wow great job.... I wish I knew how to do that so nicely and perfectly... How did you learn that?? Because the last time I tried to put a dragon decal on my car it ended up crooked with lots of bubbles in it.... 😧
Thanks for the compliments, but it was far from perfect. To start, I had to cut the vinyl as three pieces on each side. I have an older vinyl cutter and once it gets beyond 24 inches, it starts to skew in the cutter. So then I had to put it on each side in three pieces; I tried using the painters' tape to line them up as best as I could. At some angles it is WAY crooked from one piece to the other. It didn't help that it was about 25 degrees F outside, so my hands were cold and the adhesive was sticking too much to the backing paper and not enough to the transfer paper. So many lessons learned.
It's some generic single suction-cup mount with a small arm and tripod screw base. I've had it for a few years, and use it mostly with the Insta360 GO2 inside the car.
Sorry about the wind noise. I couldn't really clean it up in editing without ruining the entire audio. I'll try messing with the audio settings on the camera next time.
Thanks. It was just a first test. I have to start experimenting with the manual settings, and will probably have to set them every time based on the lighting available. But I think it will be a fun way to vlog or show off an area from the car.
