The only thing he got wrong was calling that subsequently discredited interviewer a "cool cat"; but then Prince was promoting Musicology to the masses and charm mode was required here. He astutely swerved all the " let's Diss new artists " traps the interviewer set for him. He wasn't just the most talented performer ever , he was also an astute marketeer.
I know that the fact he didn't purposely wanna reveal much (in general) it was part of who he was and his charm after all. But my gut tells me that if you ever were lucky enough to sit with Prince and he opened up more about many topics, you would be absolutely amazed how much he knew and how intelligent he was. I always got impression with Prince that there was a fountain of things he knew and a lot of wisdom, but he didn't want publicly to expose himself in this way. He ,,exposed''with music what there was for a public eye, everything else was treasured, away from it. But this part may be as genius and interesting as his musicality - just to fall in love with him even more if you knew him in this matter more. But that's just my impression...
Now you see if I was interviewing him I would ask why home boy likes wearing heels, who would you like to colab with, would you colab with any new artist, can I get a concert ticket, what’s it like when it’s on stage, do you have advice for any aspiring artist, if you were a teacher would you what is one think you would teach the children that’s not music related.
Prince matured so much during over the years just looks at his past interviews from American bandstand and during the under the cherry moon ...he was bound to break that craziness he was doing I think once he realized how the industry was that told it all he had to mature up and get the truth out
Prince is correct, music today sounds very different. I think music today sounds awful. I agree with Prince... the new music artists today make packaged music with too much technology, & it sounds fake to me. The good old music album days have the best lyrics, songs, sound, & singers voices. I do miss how good the older music sounded. Prince is a music legend! I love his music!
Isn't Prince's last few albums (AOA, HNR, and PlectrumElectrum) made with technology and shit like that as well? Besides instruments that Prince played, he put plenty of tech in his music a couple decades ago, so what does it even mean anymore anyway? At the same time, I also agree with you on that part as well. I wish pop music nowadays is more homemade than it is half-baked, something like a frozen packaged, or just plain awful. That's it, but at least putting tech in music can sound good too, depends on your taste and your opinion.
Prince had such an air of confidence and command about him and yet he was so calm and soft-spoken.His sense of fashion was equally appealing.Rest in peace legend.
His child had just died. He wanted no media about that. He had to go on acting like nothing had happened. That must of been so hard for him and Mayte. The baby died right when he had to promote Emancipation.

Why is what is Prince coming back to that's what we don't we still don't understand what is he going back to he's dead now and a lot of people need to there is no nothing that we could do to bring him back to life
