So Far this company seem to be a company i look forward to dealing with. The humming Bird cold press seems like a good machine. I'm starting a Juice business. P.s How can I get in touch with Chris Goode
These are beautiful machines. Fantastic design. Two design tweaks that would perfect this: a) a shute and tamper large enough to take a whole medium apple b) a retractable silicon "tent" that connects the bottom of the juicer and the juice tray with a seal to further reduce oxidation while the machine is pressing. That would be efficiency, freshness perfection! I would save my pennies and order the baby if you did that.
Been juicing for ten years and agree about juice tray with seal . I also said eh when i saw the size of that shoot. Seems i have to go to M1 mini for that size chute (i think)
i feel like the blade heats up the veggatables and oxidized the juice. maybe not true cold press with the blade heating up the veggables before they hit the bag.
Very new subscriber from Down Under. I must say, I listened to the podcast on Glass vs Plastic Juice Bottles and I really didn’t like what Olivia was saying there already. I avoided your episodes with her after that. 😜 And I don’t know her from a bar of soap. Anyway, please make it earlier than mid next year the release of the Hummingbird in Australia!
Just seeing this! Holy smokes! Charlie, so sorry that you and the company are going through this. From the get go I did not trust her vibe. She showed herself as dishonest by lying on camera a couple times. It made me question your brand and integrity as GN chose to align with her. I am sorry that she f’d you all but she showed herself as the ultimate aggressive opportunist who does not have integrity way before she did this to GN. I hope that your “good nature” and trust in others does not get taken advantage of again. I am truly sorry Charlie and I wish the very best for GN as you move your company forward in positive energy with others who align with and exude a “good nature” within themselves. To me, that is where the true value is, and spreading that to others in your personal and professional life. Olivia will play herself out, I don’t think you need to get legal involved. Her karma will come. No one really gets away with anything, she has created her own negative energy to deal with herself. Best to you and the future of GN. This is just a hiccup and when you look back years from now this will be a small blip in GN’s timeline.
Our machine holds a lot more per batch, and allows you to walk away while it's working. Also, Nama J2 has a 30 minute duty cycle (30 minute break after 30 minutes of use). Not ideal for bulk production.
You are comparing apples to lemons regarding commercial machine versus home machine the expectations would definitely be higher quality for a commercial juicer.
Thank you for sharing, Appreciate the transparency. These insights are super valuable as a business owner which is who I am sure is the primary viewer of this channel
Thank you for sharing with us, huge Goodnature supporter I love my x-1 mini! Sorry to hear what happened that’s terrible 😩 you 100% are not being to emotional, you invested into this venture emotionally and financially and got blind sided. As a business owner I’ve had that same feeling happen and it’s a huge let down. I’m excited for the future of Goodnature I know y’all are going to keep killing it regardless of any obstacles, I love hearing the podcast while I do my daily juice errands!🙌🤘
WOW , What a share. Goodnature is and Always has been Amazing. GOOD RIDDANCE. I can tell this was very painful. Digest, heal and move on.. You guys are Completely Awsome
Not usually necessary, but it depends on the recipe and which recipe you're moving to. For example, if you're going from beets to nut milk, you would need to rinse it.
Press time is set to about 4 minutes. Yes we've considered all materials while developing the technology, we have determined these materials to be the best for the job.
Oh wow, great looking and designed presses. Question... Would the Hummingbird series presses be good for a cold press on demand juice bar? Im looking for Juicers and Goodnature has been on my radar for a while now. Thank you for engineering such great looking and practical machines.
You could do an on-demand juice program with Hummingbird. The press time is about 4 minutes, but you can hold the button to "boost" it which speeds up the press. For a single 16 ounce serving, you could probably produce it in under 3 minutes total.
I started my juice company at farmers markets out here in CA Orange County 10 years ago when I was 18 post cancer!Health dept makes our life a living hell especially for juice since it’s “raw” we are categorized as milk. The regulations are out of hand, 3 comp sink all that good stuff. Our health dept is like a revolving door with new workers all the time all with different sets of rules (instead of following the ones that are actually written by health dept 😂) Also the markets were just as y’all described aha the managers are always on a power trip, it’s rain or shine and you better be there in the rain or you will be kicked out it’s ruthless. I cannot wait to get a brick and motor.😭 Don’t get me wrong Farmers markets are a good starting point for small businesses and have helped me establish my brand but the way I’ve seen managers just destroy someone’s livelihood and kick them out over leaving in the middle of a storm or 30+mph winds has just left me with a whole new perspective aha. It’s nice to hear that they’re are health depts out there that don’t make a small business owners life a living nightmare 😂 Just switching over from centrifugal to cold press after all these years I got my X-1 mini a few weeks ago and have been transferring over my recipes! I can’t wait to retire the old centrifugal haha!
