Previously, when using the Pure Juicer, we struggled with making larger batches because of the bag system, which often popped open and sprayed juice and produce all over the kitchen, causing quite a mess. Changing screens was also quite frustrating.

Great job, Eric and your design engineers on a revolutionary juice press/grinder. The Hummingbird's blade disk's having NO HOLES to clog is very smart. On your grinding disk you have combined recessed slots with alternating swaths of teeth, allowing efficient grinding of all kinds of produce- from carrots to kale. ginger to celery....and the juice and ground fibers never need to pass through a screen, the big cleanup issue with most all other juicers. Cleaning little holes and extracting fibers from juicer teeth is time consuming on most juicers and food processors. Your 20-second cleanup is amazing. You have that on your other Hummingbird juicer where you compare it to a Nama juicer. Like Charlie said, "you can fill up your refrigerator (with pressed juice) in 30 minutes". No waiting, families- your household will enjoy their fresh juices without tiny quantities which are always running out, and without anybody's feeling like CLEANUP is a chore. THE biggest bar to juicing is CLEANUP OF THE JUICER- that is what is on everybody's minds when contemplating making juice. The weight has been pared down by Eric's team's creating new pressure-sensitive gears which allow the grinding to get done without any hydraulics or air pressure. You have obviated many heavy parts with finesse in design. The Hummingbird cold press grinder-juicers are scheduled to be delivered in September says Charlie. Huge fan and recent x-1 mini owner!🙌 My heart sank when I saw the main difference was the whole food hopper in the mini and the hummingbird has a better yielding blade with an 11k price difference 🥲 Is the hummingbird XL an x1 mini v2? Would you put berries in the grinder and pineapple or you would use put in hopper directly. I am asking before eat of podcast

The hopper and grinder mount of the M-1 and hummingbird look the same. Seems like relatively simple engineering to create a "hummingbird hopper/grinder assembly" that would mount to the M-1. I think every M-1 owner would upgrade for the increased yield the new hopper/grinder offers. I definitely would.
