I’ve been looking for Miss Hazel. She is an adorable SQUIRREL! I’ve returned to cross stitch and currently working on finishing a piece I started 30 years ago. Enjoying your channel very much! Naomi Leah from Florida
I received a new birdfeeder for Mother Day that has a camera on it to identify birds. The problem is that I constantly get notifications that something is at the feeder when I check the video it's a squirrel! Could it be Hazel???
Hello Gin Sarah, Just wanted to say I have started Florence Mary Dickerson. What a joy to stitch. What beautiful colors and I have chosen xJu Designs marbled hazelnut linen, 40 count. I am almost done with the first little page! I am a slow stitcher. Already made a mistake and I don't think I will frog it, just because I am an imperfect person. I will send some photos to your email I think. Or to your Facebook if you have. What fun. I must also message Judy.
Hi Sarah! My favorite stitcher in the world is you and you make my day every time! Guess what…I loved your opening picture of Santa with his list so much I just had to sleuth around and find him. Well, I finally did locate him! Of course I had to purchase his PDF and boy….what a huge project this will be. He has a lot of confetti stitches and looks really daunting. With that said, when you stitch, you said you always stitch with just one thread. Does that mean you only use a larger count linen? One over two? Your stitching results are my fav so I want to try your method. Thanks! P.S. Do you remember what fabric and threads did you stitch Mr. S in? ☺️ I loved just another great video of yours today!! Thank you! 🥰
Recently brought a ‘Hazel’ into my home…not a squirrel but a robo-vacuum! A stitchy Hazel would be a lovely addition to my home…. Sarah, I love all your projects in process!
I love your finish of Eleanor - mine is still sat in the 'to be fully finished' pile so I feel I must now get on and do it! Lovely to see all your projects and hear how you are getting so much joy from them and the new puppy of course. I wonder if she will like to chase a squirrel or two in the Autumn?! xx
Love your Eleanor Rigby finish! So cute! Enjoy your Strawberry Fields. Stitching on 25 count one over one is so addictive! The stitches are so tiny and look so nice on Lugana. Missed you at the stitching meet-up but glad you got to enjoy some family time. New puppies are so much work! But bring so much fun. Annie looks like a sweet addition to your family. Enjoy the stitching, my friend!
Hi Sarah I am so happy for you that you have a new puppie. Your stitching is so beautiful as it always is. I love your finish of Elenor made into a pillow. I am sure you have a squirrel or two around. You make me so happy with your beautiful smile and your kindness to others. Love you 🐭🐠🐳🌼🌸🍄
Sarah, when I run up against a slub in my linen, I use a fine crochet hook and nudge it around to the back side of the fabric. Takes a bit of fiddling (depending on how big it is), but it works for me.
Hello Sarah, our happy dear stitchy friend 🥰. I’ve just done 2 swans, busy with 2 elephants and a deer waits in the wings (samplers and their creatures) so a squirrel would be very welcome in my cross stitch menagerie! 😉
Hi Sarah ! I thoroughly enjoyed all your stitching once again, thank you for Sharing ! Your pup is so cute and I bet he loves to watch for a squirrel ! Take care 💕🦭🐿
I have found that sometimes just stitching over a slub minimizes it. You won’t know until you try. It would be a shame to have to start all over again.
Sweet Sarah, Watching you today has been such a balm to my weary soul. While trying to care for my sweet husband during his medical struggles, I rarely have the time or energy to stitch and miss it so much. I know that for everything there is a season, and someday I will get back to the joy of needle and thread, but until then, Thank you so much for sharing your love and joy with me. Blessings to you, Stan, your family and sweet Annie. xoxoxo
Miss Hazel the squirrel is precious as is Annie. Please share those Mill Hill tips! Love all your WIPs and may have to join your birthday SAL and your Christmas stitching SAL since there are some Prairie Schoolers I’d like done this year. Another great Flosstube!
I love speculaas cookies as well as lebkuchen and a few others. All the German (European) Christmas goodies. BTW, I made it to 1 year in remission. I am cancer free. Give tons of pets to Princess Annie for me. Thanks for sharing. Take care. Hope to see you in June.
Julie with running with scissors stitching with Jane and Julie finished the red deer and had it framed. I don’t remember what episode it’s in, but it was beautiful. If you can find it’s running with scissors stitching with Jane and Julie
Enjoyed visiting with you so much. ❤ Always do. The Courage piece is beautiful. Are you doing one or two threads? 36 count is problematic for me 😂 I like the saturation of two but sometimes too crowded.
Such a joy to spend time with you! If I didn’t already have a birthday stitch planned I would join yours! My birthday is a day before yours so decided to start a Brenda Gervais “Every Opening Flower”. Maybe at some point I will join in on yours but I really need to finish a few wips first! All your stitching is so beautiful and so I thank you for showing us all that you stitch! You are so appreciated and I know how much the stitching community means to you and want you to know how much YOU mean to all of us! Happy Stitching!
Hello friend, thank you for sharing your stitches acme your thoughts. I so enjoy our visits. I love to watch a squirrel or two outside the window while I stitch❤
Happy to spend some time with you! Trader Joes has a Speculos Cookie Butter spread that is absolutely delicious haha. :). I wish I had slub advice, but I've only done 1 over 2 and just worked over the slub, but you're right I'm not sure how 1 over 1 would work on a slub! Hope some people can give you options! Love the progress on the Red Deer sampler!
Hello from Tennessee! It's lovely to stitch with you this morning. 😊. Your little Annie is so adorable. ( Squirrel ) My suggestion for the slub on your piece.... Work till you get to it and see where it lays. I had a piece that had a very similar situation and I put it off and stitched all the other stuff and did that spot very last and it missed it by one or two threads. If I'd gone there early I would have been put out of my fear. Lolol. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful art. Love you bunches
Hi Sarah, I'm new here, first time I saw a floss tube from you. I'm Marion and I'm from the Netherlands (Holland). I really love your work ánd I really love love love your tone, your style, it's so kind and enthusiastic, it's inspiring, so thank you. I allready subscribed and hit the bel so I will return and start (little by little) start watching your floss tubes from the start. So thank you for all the work you put in this floss tube and till next time. And ooooh, that squirrel! I just bought christmas at Hollyberry farm from Stacy Nash, I want to start that in july. OK a little introduction felt appropiate since you show so much off yourself. Bye for now!
Sarah…I think Julie_in_stitches has a tutorial about taking out slubs. So lovely to have an Afghan of yesteryear rediscovered and loved in a new way. Fabulous video.
As always what beautiful work you have done ❤ I always look forward to your videos. Your grandbaby at the end is absolutely precious. Aren't grandkids absolutely precious? They bring out an entirely new level of love you didn't know exists until you experience them❤
Annie is so adorable and she will become comfortable in her own time. Vince is so precious. Love all your projects and I’m in for Florence, I have to find a piece of linen, the creme brulee I got was so mottled and it just wasn’t working. I think you will be ok with Ann Campion, I would be more worried if you removed it and then got a whole in the linen. If you take your needle and try to work out where to stitch and then mark it, you should be fine. I have done that with one over one myself and it was fine. Lots of fun stitching to look forward to. Happy Stitching
I have just found you, (subscribed and liked) I loved watching and will catch up with the others unless a SQUIRREL gets my attention.. I recently purchased my first Blackbird designs, not as easy to get in the UK, they were most of the Magical Mystery Tour (still missing Yellow Submarine) I plan to start Eleanor Rigby this week for my birthday start. I hope mine will look as good as yours, I’ll be using DMC, and definitely not 40 count. I’ve been a live longBeatles fan since the start (well 3 years old) Thank you for sharing your stitching 🧵 take care😍
Sarah, I’m commenting mid- watch so I don’t forget. Somebody else may have mentioned but in case not, I’m pretty sure that Jan Hicks has a video on how to remove slubs from your fabric and she also shows how to fix it if a hole does appear. It’s very helpful.
