10:41 in fairness to Rayla, sunsets can happen deceptively quickly, so she may have only been on the ship reading for like 20 minutes rather than forgetting about Callum freezing his butt off for hours
I also loved the way it was revealed. So many people were expecting some grand revelation about who Callum’s birth father was. But I love how it instead is just Callum sharing a personal memory of him with Rayla. It feels so much sweeter and natural. Not everything has to be a big twist or mystery. Damien was just a normal person and I like that.
20:20 I love that moment from Ezran. Even his compassion and empathy has its necessary limits. Especially since as far as Ezran knows, this could’ve been another trick from Viren. If Ezran knows about how Viren let the sunfire elves capture him to help Aaravos corrupt Lux Auria, then it’s not unreasonable for Ezran to think that Viren’s tears are just him trying to take advantage of his kind nature to steal back the pearl.
4:45 I actually feel bad for Claudia. She clearly has a fear of abandonment and of being alone. Especially if you’ve read Lost Child or Puzzle House. She thought she could spare herself of more pain by leaving Terry, but quickly realized she could not commit to it. She’s also been spending so much time just going along with whatever Viren or Aaravos wanted, she’s never stopped to think about what she wants. She needs someone to tell her what to do and who to be.
@@Dare_to_Nerd It’s also sad because despite her being more powerful than Viren, she never really wanted for power the same way he did. She never had the same ambition that drove Viren and was happy just using her magic for silly pranks. I’m willing to bet that the main reason she got into magic as a kid was just to have something in common with her dad so they could spend more time together. This makes Viren leaving her in the beginning of the season make a lot more sense to me, despite it clearly being the wrong decision. He doesn’t feel capable of guiding Claudia down the right path since he is the reason she is on the path she is now. He had always commanded blind obedience and loyalty from both of his kids. And so he hopes that by leaving, she will be able to find the right path on her own, and not just stop doing dark magic just because he told her to.
And now remember what Blitz said to Loona in Episode "Spring Broken"... "The kind of FREAKS who drool over you!" Well... one is hell now 😂 And Blitz made so many Meme-worthy faces in this short 😁
4:25 It's like in classic TV cartoons. Then it will turn out that the evil anime company anime is actually magical and the main characters will have to fight them. Well, in this case, the "good" company?
Apparently, Blitzo literally only misspells things around Stolas. Otherwise he writes absolutely fine. HE MAKES PUNS, even. It took me a while. I felt bad for him!😆
I've been trying to find a pattern. He still misspells things around others, like Millie, Moxxie and Fizzarolli. For a minute, I thought he spells things correctly when he cares about what he's writing, but then he had terrible spelling when texting an apology to Stolas (before deleting them). Unless his texting is always messy because, really, who hasn't mis-typed before? But also, I can't see him caring that much about the apology letter to the Cherubs, so that can't be it. Maybe he misspells when he wants others to THINK he doesn't care that much? I don't know.
@@Dare_to_Nerd think it's just because it's hard to type on the phone with his long claws or maybe he just has trouble spelling some words but not others
@@villaintoon2350 Maybe. 🤔 Sometimes he'll spell a word incorrectly, then spell it correctly after. He spelled Moxxie's name wrong when he handed him paperwork, but spelled it right on his list of people to apologize to.
I have, but I kind of wished I hadn't. Only because of when Kenji confronts Ben about Brooklynn. I wish they had kept that part a secret. I often don't watch trailers and clips to avoid spoilers.
Besides all the other theories and ideas.. What songs/characters do you like to see in season 2? Lilith solo song. Lute solo song. Adam solo song. Lilith/Lucifer duet Niffty solo song. Cherri Bomb / Angel Dust duet.
On this day, a hero left us. A knight, no less. In a shining uniform. But my theory is.. "Huh, what where am I?" can of course be general confusion, but what if you lose your memory when you are redeemed? Because you are basically a cleat-slate and start over? ... Similarly, Charlie will eventually realize that she created the hotel as a replacement family and if redemption is really to work for several Sinners, she will gradually lose her friends/family. The hotel cannot continue to exist in this form. The only way would be a new world order, uniting hell and heaven as one big empire with new, fair rules for all souls. Because I don't believe in the Root theory, it's cool, but it's too boring for me. A (presumably) mindless monster without character that threatens the whole of creation, that's 80's cartoon worldbuilding and Hazbin Hotel doesn't need that.
I like the theory about Charlie and the Hotel, and I can see it becoming a conflict for her later on. There are some theories about the Winners not remembering their human lives. I'm interested to see their reactions to learning about the Exterminations. If they have their memories and think there are loved ones down in hell, it will probably create a serious conflict and divide heaven.
I like that theory but isn't it kind of contradictory with hell Helluva Boss when it said Cherubs are protection people on Earth on the behalf of the winning soul which implies that they have some kind of memory?
@@Dare_to_Nerdtrue I'm particularly curious about Molly and angel dust relationship I think that only really works if they both remember their lives on earth
I don't wanna defend Adam... but he was also the very first human soul who got tricked and left by his first girl.. that causes lots of pain. Nobody is an a-hole for no reason. Maybe Sera knows what truly happens and that's why he can say and do what he wants. Also were is God.. in all of this? Maybe he is in a living/dead state like the Emperor of mankind in Warhammer 40K and no one knows how to interpret his wisdom and the heavens are leaderless?
"You're gifted to be here.." most arrogant way to welcome someone.. very true, she seems so motherly kind specially with Emily but by the end of this episode.. she basically said "Stay in your line and do what as i say". Kindness can also be a weapon to control someone. But there is definitley more to that story.. I don't know why but i can see her, related to Lilith or Lucifer someone because she gave me that vibes, also she is very tall and Lilith used to be very tall.. Charlie is taller then her dad and.. Lute is also kind involved in this.. also.. she has lit. No chill about demons. I can see her as the (not wanted) child of Eve and Lucifer, and that's why Eve was depressed in the beginning and why Lilith left the family later. Could also be a mislead with Lilith tho, and Alastor has a deal with Eve instead.
What i can say if that was Molly (99,99% sure) + super cute/love spiders actually, and shes got four legs were Angel has four arms. Mmmm important? Probably not. Just observation.
Lucifer is not was like everyone expected to be and i am happy with it. Very emotional, and i think you are on the right way. Alastor is definitely changing, even if he will never admit it, he is having his agenda and a plan to maybe become ruler of Hell, so he could fully free, but i guess that won't happen. I'm not entirely sure if Lilith has his soul. So far we can only assume that she is the shitty parent and not Lucifer, but there must be good reasons for that. She didn't leave hell to go on holiday forever, I don't think so. The question is... if she made a deal with Alastor and has his soul, but she doesn't want to have anything to do with Charlie anymore... why would it then (which I assume) be part of the deal that he helps Charlie? ... What does Lilith get out of it if that's the case? There are still far too many missing pieces of the puzzle.
That is what i love about Helluva/Hazbin .. both shows have great characters and their emotions their problems are all real, they feel real and since the original X-Men, Gargoyles and Avatar i've never seen anything like it. + Loser Baby best song yet. Hands down.
I love Zeezie too.. Overlord of the Jungle District. Can't wait to see more of her. And my first thought was rather Raptor but with that size T-Rex makes more sense.
We know now Alastor had killed (maybe absorbed their power who knows) other Overlords who were dominate for centuries.. and these few are those who remains... i know this show is not about fighting in that way, but those girls and guys must be really powerful. And the Vee's are gonna be a big problem for sure in season 2.
Hohohohoho *cries* merry Christmas! Hohoho *cries* In all honesty, no spoilers, but this season was the best IMO, just finished it. They really stepped up this time.
