Well done Frank boat looked good it wasn’t available when i did these Munro’s and I ended up backpacking them with the Affric Munro’s it was very tough and wild area. The ridges between each of those Munro’s is interesting and a good reason to go back at some point In clearer weather as views over to Loch Monar are stunning. I always enjoy your videos always very well made well done that’s a really tough walk cheers
@@andrewkingdom cheers Andrew, really appreciate those comments👍 That would have been tough going doing them with the Affric ones, very remote. Yeh was so glad we used the boat and our day started off brilliantly, but the good old fashion Scottish weather had other plans🤣🤣 My aim when I finish the munros is to revisit the ones I never got views from, so hopefully at some point I’ll be back Thanks again Andrew ATB Frank
A tough day Franko after the walks yous had already done...What a change in the weather.....Its not been the kindest of summers for us!! Well done! Paulo.

So unlucky with that weather , it's a brilliant hike, didn't enjoy the final descent either. Friend and I did it in 11hrs without the boat, what a difference a nice day makes 🤷♂️
@@itsablack1 cheers Allan, yeh so disappointing the weather as we thought we were gonna finish our week with a cracking ridge walk. I’ll bet it’s a cracker in good weather, boat ride was fun and yeh that final decent was murder ended up easier just sliding down in our bums 🤣👍 Thanks again ATB Frank
@@ootnboots cheers Stevie, yeh it was a day of 2 half’s . Long tiring day again but the beers and pizza were great that night.🍺🍺🍺🍺🍕🍕🍕 Cheers Stevie ATB Frank
Frank that started of looking great with the boat ride and the sunny weather a bummer the weather came in as these look fantastic munros , need to get up to get them done think i will probably walk along the loch be skint if i hire the boat myself 😂😂Atb Ally 👍👍
@@Allysmountainwalks6462 cheers Ally, yeh it can be expensive that boat if the no’s are not there. It would have been an amazing ridge walk if the weather had played ball. Hope you get better weather mate ATB Frank
A tough day and glad to see the ferry boat is running. The weather was certainly not your friend but it looks like the dreaded midges stayed away… some consolation. As a matter of interest, what campsite did you stay at? I’m hoping to do these four in the next couple of months and plan to camp, the idea of a shower, beer and pizza afterwards is very appealing. Really enjoyed the vid as always. Cheers
@@timothyewart8160 cheers Timothy appreciate the watch and comments👍 Yeh ferry boat is running but quite expensive. Less than 4 people £60pp 4 or more £40pp Still glad I used it tho. Yeh weather was the spoiler as the day went on. We stayed at the Cannich campsite which was brilliant Facilities were great and the breakfast in the on site cafe was brilliant. A short walk along the Main Street there is a double decker bus which serves as a cafe where you get the beers and pizzas. Which were lovely. Hope you get better weather when you attempt them. Thanks again ATB Frank
@@hikingwithfrank315 Thanks Frank, Yeah expensive ferry boat but if you’re no mountain goat ( and I’m certainly not one of those) a justifiable cost… Thanks also for giving me the name of the campsite, I’ll definitely use that…. It’s sounds ideal. Cheers Tim
I always find it crazy to think folk do that as part of a 12 loop. That route looked hard enough. Shame you got the clag but I think that’s what we’re gonna remember this summer for. Cracking video as usual frank 😊👌

@@hikingwithfrank315 yeah that was mega fun. Our group was going to do the 12 Munro circuit at the beginning of June wild camping 3 nights but we had to bail out walking the entire Loch out as Snow had been forecasted for our last night camping. That walk out was strenuous so going back there to complete the Mullardoch 4 on the boat was awesome. Something like 8k in 8 minutes and we got to see a white tailed eagle flying out of the small island which was a wonderful sight to see. Your morning looked so promising. Astonishing how quickly the weather can change.
