You are missing the lost opportunity cost on the extra money you will spend for the full EV. Most of the cost analysis I see on vehicle purchases overlook this factor. That 20k extra you spent on the EV when invested in an appreciating asset over 10 years could totally transform which vehicle makes the most financial sense.
Can I try the ACV if I have GERD and LPR? My symptoms are very mild right now but I want to go back to my regular lifestyle or at least as close as possible.
Any shirt that binds your shoulders and biceps sucks. I don't care much for looks. I want comfort and the ability to work in them. Binding shirts are uncomfortable and can't be worked in well. Duluth are best when it comes to a combo of looks with comfort and workability included. Although for the price some large tall brands at JC Penny can also do the trick. Though you do have to make sure they havent changed to shoulder binder types.
Dude, I don't even know what I have (low or high acid level), but this guy made this video so amazing that makes me feel in hope about fixing my symptoms. It's kinda sad you can get a possible solution for your pain in minutes and yet spending so much time in doctors misdiagnosing you (not on purpose, of course, but it is true that they are overwhelmed often and don't spend proper time with patients). Thanks a lot for this video, will DEFINITELY give it a try. Subscribing in 3...2...1!
Thank You very much. Your Video helped me very much. I tried betain taking one pill of betain to my two meals I eat per day. Ever since I never had Reflex Symptoms any more. It is my game changer. Now my live is much better.
When I live a healthy lifestyle, good sleep, diet, and exercise - coffee actually helps me cognitively, and wait 1-2 hours after waking before consuming it which helps avoid the afternoon crash. I also fast in the morning to mid-afternoon so black coffee helps suppress my appetite. I think if it's consumed in controlled amounts based on your body, it can be beneficial for some people.
I think coffee is great! I just got to the point where if I missed having it one morning my whole day was messed up. And I didn't like that. But I too sometimes use it throughout the day to aid with my fasting and love it for that.
Guys try low-FOODMAP diet and see if it helps, the gasses might simply be farts from the small intestine due to SIBO. Aka LPR might be side-effect of SIBO which puches the stomach to fart due to pressure
Appreciate the share. While I didn't need to use the FODMAP diet myself I think an elimination diet is hugely important as it can help identify the triggers for a lot of symptoms. I too think the foods we eat are the biggest cause of these problems.
Glad you found the video! Good luck on your journey. I just love taking breaks now, I get so much down and my zest for life shoots up. It's a wonder why I even go back. It's the social situations really.
OMG! Thank you for posting this video. I have been dealing with this for about a year and the normal Acid reflux fixes were doing nothing plus the phlegm drainage at night was aweful. Coughing and waking up at night. Last night I got the best sleep I’ve had in a year. I used my netti pot with Saline and Baking soda. Unbelievable how simple this was.
No. Fixing the stomach is priority #1. You don't NEED the baking soda spray. It's just to help relieve symptoms while we level out the acid in the stomach. Focus on the Betaine. Then if you need the spray in the meantime, use it. You won't need it once the Betaine kicks in.
I was wondering if you could help me out I have been suffering from similar symptoms you have mentioned, and I did the burp test no burps for me. So I have been on ppi medication for around 2years now, so can you tell me if you have stopped taking your medication while taking the Baletain chl so how can I start on that? Thank you
Well that's my story too... I was on PPI's but I weened off, added acid and it fixed me right up! You have to do what makes sense for you, and luckily the risk of trying this is low, but it can just be tricky getting off the PPI's. Let us know if you try it how it works out! Good luck.
You know, I think I can confidently say it wouldn't be a big deal for me. With that being said, alcohol is the one for me that is harder to shake. I'm sure some people feel that way about coffee so I can relate in that way.
@bentrider oh well I often go days in a row without it all the time. I usually either have protein shake in the morning or some tea. Today I didn't have any coffee! Feel fine.
Yeah the social aspect is huge for a lot of people. I don't think you're alone there. We went to a party last night and our friend who isn't drinking at the moment had to leave because she was bored. It's a different kind of fun, one that a lot of us aren't used to!
Well, it's a sign that perhaps you have too much acid and need to put your lifestyle and diet under a microscope. I still think all the points at the end of this video DO apply to people with high acid... you need to identify what's causing it. It could be what you're eating, when you're eating, etc. A food journal helps a lot of people... others, an elimination diet. Dairy/gluten seem to be some of the worst offenders but nightshades are common too.
The sound is good but it’s a garbage system. Sometimes it won’t let me listen to music even if it says connected it won’t play sound. The one I have doesn’t even have an aux port. You need their app and register to use it. Buy a different brand
The new Sonos app REALLY took a step backwards. It's been out for what, a month? And users are upset! The whole reason you get Sonos is because of the ecosystem and having multiple speakers. I would say if you only want one soundbar, there are other, better options. But if you want a speaker in your kitchen, maybe one in your garage, another in your living room, that's where Sonos really shines ONCE You get used to the app. Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience.
@@TheSAHDLife it worked ok most of the time. I’m using an old Samsung with the app, my current phone is a newer iPhone I guess switching over could probably fix it. Maybe it’s the update that the Samsung is having trouble connecting. It says connected, song plays silent for a minute then I get sound, try to restart song and same thing it’s silent for a minute
@@kdk200 I'm sure it would work better with the iPhone but still... that shouldn't happen. They took a great product and messed it up. Their new app is terrible. I just can't even believe it.
It's a good question and I would like to have played around with it more had I had more different mugs. I think it could work! Moreso if the bottom of the mug was flat AND it fit. It'd be great! But keep in mind it only heats from the bottom, if you don't sip for awhile the liquid on the top might not be as warm as the bottom.
If you have a big guy friend, they have another company called built-different , if you do research you will see the owners are the same and the website, adds etc are all the same. If you look at built different site, with promos in Europe with all costs of shipping duties etc a pack of 12 I paid 165 euro a bit less, which is about 13.75 per t shirt, considering it's for bigger guys may it be muscle or fat, it's hard to find bigger t-shirts
Thanks for watching! Hmmm that's interesting. The app isn't showing you anything out of the ordinary I'm guessing? Is your satellite anywhere crazy behind concrete walls or really far from the original? Have you tried moving it around to different locations and testing it out then?
@@TheSAHDLife Thanks for the reply. I originally thought it was because they were on different floors of my house, but your video clearly negates that. Your primary deco and your satellites are getting the same speeds?
@@davidtamashiro3077 Ok, when I just walked up to the downstairs Deco and did the speedtest it was about half. So what I did was open the app, click on devices, found my phone, made it so it defaulted the downstairs Deco + turned off mesh technology to force it to choose that one, then the speed was the same as the upstairs one. I think it' just takes some time or it has to hit a certain threshold of speed before it switches over. What you CAN do though is set each device for each Deco. So what I've done is all my downstairs devices/smart things I've set to use the downstairs one as the main, then everything upstairs uses the upstairs one. Does that make sense? You turn off the Mesh Network setting for them individually then force which one you want them on. Hope that helps and fixes it for you! Let me know.
Oh that's so great! It's a frustrating thing to deal with but it's so exciting when you start getting relief. I feel so much better than I did for those years. I'm happy to say I fixed it for good!
I know... it is brutal that it doesn't. My TV only has 2 hdmi ports and I have a Xbox AND Nvidia Shield. I had to buy a hdmi splitter just so they could both use the Arc sound. It works at least but it's a slight pain.
I know right? We have a few TV's in the house, and we use our Nvidia Shield's a lot because they have a bit more horsepower than the TV's built in apps which makes for smoother browsing. We use the Netflix and RU-vid apps quite a bit on one TV though, it's pretty convenient I have to say... cheaper than another Shield! But yeah if you can rock a computer on there instead, even better!!
Yeah I don't see why not! I mean, one small bulb might not be the best for lighting up a room on it's own but, it'd do the trick. Just don't expect it to be insanely bright or brighter than any other bulb. But at least you'll be able to RGB control it with the app which is always fun!
You Truly are a BLESSING 🙌 I'm on 3rd day with baking soda test. No burp yet. 2 more days and I will follow your low acid remedy. I have been dealing with two throat Dr's that say acid reflux. Took Nexium for almost a year. "NOTHING" so stopped it. I've never gone thru the pain you have in chest or throat. Just soreness @ times. Once in while feels like something is stuck in my throat. Been feel times I coughed up small piece of food. I've been scoped twice and told lots of mucus and dryness in nose. I tried your baking soda gargle and helps. Hoping to avoid esophageal cancer or bad erosion? Thanks again for being there & caring for us Bless you & Yours 🙏
I'm glad you found the video! And yeah I know how frustrating it is... I've been there! Sometimes unfortunately we just have to take matters into our own hands, and it sounds to me like you are on the right path. After years of suffering with this I have made a full recovery and I'm sure you will too. It will take some time, you will have to be patient. I'm not sure if you have still on the PPI's but you will have to ween off them which is never fun, but you can start adding acid in pretty quick and hopefully will feel the benefit of that asap! Keep me posted with you journey my friend. I'm excited for you!
You can't :( When I suspected I might have low acid I was on PPI's too. Weening off them sucked but I had a gut feeling it was the right thing to do. I added acid pretty quick and luckily it worked for me. I can't tell you what to do, but if what you are doing isn't working perhaps it's worth a try. I have a newer video on the topic in the pinned comment, maybe watch it when you get a few?
Completely non addictive for me. I gave up and really had no side effects or missed it. Definitely a habit though, however I don't sleep quite as well without it.
That's interesting! I think I'm a bit more like you personally... I wasn't completely devastated by removing it from my life but I know some people have their whole DAY shaped around their coffee/caffeine consumption and removing it would be such a radical change it makes them freak out!
Thanks for this video mate, this was exactly what I was looking for, because I can exactly relate to every aspect of what you mentioned about your time "with booze". Even the "consumption" of my drinking nights is/was exactly the same. This now gave me extra motivation to give quitting a proper try. Just so many positives to gain while actually nothing meaningful to lose. The last 2min of the video was very honest and I struggle with similar things. Thanks for your honesty. I will make it.
Glad you found the video my friend! Like you said, there's nothing meaningful to lose by taking a break. You'll learn a lot about yourself and the things that are actually important to you. I mean just imagine all the things you'd do or think about if you weren't constantly thinking about drinking or making sure you have booze around. It opens things up. I get back into reading... it makes gaming more fun. It's just great to have that sharpness, clarity, and confidence. That being said I still fall into the trap sometimes, but I don't beat myself up about it. I know now I love taking breaks.
I am going through gerd problem right now. I am going to try this acid test. Will tell you soon what happened. I start to feel out of breath too. Is this symptoms of gerd
Good luck! How is your stress levels? I have had a few people mention being short of breathe. I dealt with that when my anxiety was high but not when it wasn't flaring up. Start with the burp test and let's go from there. The results from that will help you figure out your gameplan.
It was the Very Office Chair from Haworth. I got it used for about $350 CAD. It was great BUT I felt the seat cushion was a little too thin. I ended up selling it and am still on a quest for the next best chair. I'm currently using my old Ikea one. It's still great like 15 years later...
@@TheSAHDLife haha awesome man, i bought a vertagear "gaming" chair maybe 4 years ago, mm, immediately i didnt like it but i was pretty much stuck with it due to ordering it online. it kind of fell apart way faster than i was expecting aswell, the most annoying thing is the spring for the back adjust snapped, i really need a new chair, once you find the perfect one def make a video for it if you feel up to it! i am still looking myself lol
i was thinking herman miller but it might be out of current budget, might be a good option down the line edit: looking at them tho, i dont really like how the arms are not adjustable, so the search continues 🫡 def was thinking of just getting that iconic ikea chair everyone reccomends by default
@@SereneRalts it's hard to beat the price or durability of the Ikea one... have you considered a Secret Labs? I sat in one once and it was fantastic. I don't know if I would order it blindly though. Part of me would rather go the Ergnomic route buuut I'm sure the gaming chairs would be dam comfy!
@@TheSAHDLife i have! they look really nice, my current one is a gaming chair, my only gripe is the racing ridges on the side that hold your shoulders in place can kind of get in the way and feel cramped in certian positions
I just built a new computer and... well luckily I had an old mouse with a cable kicking around, because you're right... I wouldn't have been able to set up easily without it! Buuut I still love this mouse and am using it right now!
Is chronic gastritis permanent? I got it from an antidepressant Prozac completely messed my stomach up. It’s been 7 months since I’ve been battling this. Felt good thought I was almost healed then took supplements and set me back again so depressed help me
Hey I'm sorry to hear about that. To be honest, I don't know. It's beyond my scope. Have you worked with your doctor on this? What is your diet like? Do you eat healthy? Get exercise? Are you doing anything for your mental health at all? I know they seem like silly basic questions but they are really important. You gotta take care of yourself and your mind!
100 days today! I started because I have lived with anxiety for years, even losing partners duee to stress and anxiety. So I had to start trying somewhere. So it’s been 100 days off alcohol, which was kinda easy. 54 days off caffeine which was really hard. I am more concious about my day. I can manage my emotions better. I sleep so much better. And I am doing sports like never before! The next massive challenge for me would be chocolate! Oh god… i ate chocolate everyday. But hey, my anxiety is at much lower levels and I am happy about that.
Wow man that's really awesome to hear. Thanks for sharing 👊 Crazy to hear that caffeine was harder for you. Did you have any challenges with alcohol at all or was it just, once you made that decision it was easy to stick with? And what's the future going to be like for you and alcohol, do you even know at this point?
@@TheSAHDLife Coffee is what helped me keep up with my workaholism. Alcohol would help me take off the edge on the weekends, and would help me flirt with women. When I decided I would take time off from work, do hikes on weekends and stopped dating women to focus on myself, my relationship with alcohol and coffee changed massively. Abstinence became easier when I found the reasons why I was using them. I like my calmer mind now. I am still a f*%^ing mess. Super lost in life. Burntout. But at least I have clear questions I need to answer. And a clear mind to go find answers. I am thinking to try a full year like this. Specially now that I decided I will go stay at my home country for some 3 months and use that as a sort of sabbatical.
Hello, I was told I have GERD and was given PPIs and other medication, hasn’t helped much. Didn’t burp much with the burp test. But I’m curious, I gag a lot and have a loss of appetite, do we think that’s due to anxiety? because I do feel something in my throat almost 24/7, it doesn’t burn, it just feels like something is in there and sometimes it is very uncomfortable and I feel as if food is getting stuck or I will just gag unless I chew till a mush. Do all these symptoms still sound like LPR?
Yeah I think you have the combo-wombo my friend. Just like I did. It's a complicated brain-gut connection that is going to require some work on both sides. You will need to adjust your diet & lifestyle to get the acid in your stomach back to normal, and you're going to need to work with your mind to not churn your stomach... because it's CRAZY how much worrying can effect us. I mean heck, when we're nervous we feel it instantly in our stomachs right? If you have an active mind you can pretty much feel that ALL the time. Then it becomes hard to figure out if it's the brain OR the stomach... probably where you are at. Let me ask, did you do the burp test while on PPI's? Unfortunately that test won't be accurate. Your symptoms really sound like LPR/Gerd though so I think taking a similar route to what I did (ween off the PPI's and add acid, betaine) will probably fix you right back up. Make sure you think more about it though... perhaps watch my older videos on the subject and see if you relate to those too before you decide what to do.
@@TheSAHDLifethank you so much for the response, I keep seeing (not from doctors) people that claim to have recovered by reducing stress alone and I do have anxiety which I thought I had under control but subconsciously we don’t want to die so I’m on a constant high alert state for my symptoms from wake to sleep. I know we should all probably eat slower and better foods but I have a problem with food in general right now where my appetite is very on and off (probably stress and anxiety). I have been taking PPIs for about 5 days now. no noticable changes, reducing stress helps more to be honest. I will ween off of the PPIs when I hit a week and when theyre out of my system I will try the burp test again.
You know, I'm not sure about it as I haven't tested, but I've heard pickle juice is good for other things too (hangovers!). I still use the salt but my other secret weapon right now is coconut water. The potassium from that with the salt, my legs DON'T move anymore. Works every single time.
I’ve thought about something to extend the WI-FI in my house, which isn’t even that large but I do have so many connected things, from several phones, tablets, TVs, consoles, the washer and drier and even light bulbs! I’m currently using an Eero WIFI router supplied by my ISP which is mesh capable. I do like the app control that it has. Previously I had used a gaming Netgear Nighthawk router which was pretty good for a while but started to have some issues. I appreciate you showing this off because I think this may be something I look into in the future.
Haha I had the Nighthawk router too! It was alright... never as good as I hoped it would be? Maybe I just didn't know enough about networking. Yeah once you get the mesh going it's just awesome. I have 40 devices on it and it rips everything. I wish I did it sooner. It could be the kind of thing maybe wait for Black Friday sales on? Wait for that killer deal!
@@TheSAHDLife I agree! I heard so much how great it was, it at least handled the higher speeds that my ISP offered, but I had hoped that it would be better. There is custom firmware that one could use to make it better, but why not out of the box? Then it started to give issues and wouldn’t play nice with everything. I decided not to mess with it anymore and just use the fancy one that my ISP gave me lol.
