Approximately how much time could one expect a highly experienced person who has done this may times to spend on this? Time in minutes to install new OS on unsupported late 2011 13" MacBook pro holding 180Gb data using high speed SSD and minimum 100 mbps internet connection?
All i can say is, thank God i got rid of mine and went back to windows based laptops. Nothing but a total ball ache. All I'm left with is a £350 paper weight 🤮
oi when i boot into mac os recovery i format and erase the disk, click on install mac os and then continue and nothing happens doesnt freeze just clicks and does nothing any fixes? i tried this with vmware player too same issue
I tried to do the upgrade while keeping my files, but the iMac reboots endlessly and when I removed the USB stick the iMac does not boot at all (I get the crossed folder or crossed circle symbols). Are you able to help me, please?
damn, i was stuck at sierra for a long time.tried several videos including open patcher.this is the only procedure that works for me, im upgrading it now to big sur. hope it works.😂
I did it with a mac mini late 2012. 8 gb ram and it was kind of laggy, but I downloaded apps on appstore normally. I turn it off for a few hours and turn it back on and it showed the folder with question mark screen. now I have to downgrade.
VmWare works so much better. Easier to install and is faster to run. I would suggest using Monterey or Ventura, then updating to Sonoma in the regular way. Less problems.
Hello I followed your video to put mac os monterey on my imac 27 inch mid 2011 (12.2), it installs as it should, but I no longer have an internet connection yet I am plugged in with the cable and I don't I no longer have wifi and I can't get them back on, do you have a solution, thank you kindly
You saved my Macbook Pro 2012 model cause I thought this version wasn’t going to install since it kept restarting and loading then finally the desktop showed up. Now I can finally install this app needed to access my military stuff from home🤧❤️
as long as you are disconnected from the internet on ur main pc when u launch it, opening a virus on a vm should be fine, but research to double check first
Disk Utility would not give me the option of erasing the SSD I have to a Mac OS Extended Journaled format.. it only had APFS, so I had to go with that.. I'm wondering if that's ok..? Thanks
